What does /k/ think about flare guns?
I picked up a 26.5mm flare gun recently. It is of Soviet design, but was made by CZ some time post-war for export to East Germany.
These are pretty fun to shoot and have a pleasant kick.
Does anyone here have 26.5mm or 40mm flare guns? Share your experiences here.

These white flares are kind of spendy at ~$20/round. They're supposedly capable of lighting up 15 acres for 15 seconds. Haven't shot one of these off yet.

How does /k/ feel about carbine conversion kits/etc for handguns? I get that they're really just dumb range toys that are usually a bit too expensive for what they are, but I can't help but adore the way some of them look.

What's sad about it? Its not like I don't other guns, I am sure I have 1 that you wish you had, this pellet gun might not be it but its similar in velocity as a .22 lr which is pretty fun being all mechanical and cheap ammo. I shoot small game with it no problem, pretty cheap fun.

The United States has not placed any restrictions on Japan's military at all. I'm sick of seeing people claim that the Japanese government is still under restrictions from WW2. They are not. Japan is free to build any type of ship of their choosing to the fullest extent that their budget will allow. They have a very solid navy.

Yes, but first off i would like to state that the country I live in is highly restrictive on firearms, and that my probability of getting ammo for this thing without going metal detecting in a farmers field somewehre in Ukraine is pretty low.
I'm also pretty skooks if the popo decides to eyeball my exif data or if you decide to rat me out.

Hey /k/, does anyone have experience bringing firearms into State Parks in WA? I've heard answers ranging from "It's legal to carry and fire a loaded firearm in state parks" to "It's illegal to carry a firearm in state parks unless it's unloaded in a gun bag."
People have told me that the park rangers will hassle me and all sorts of things, but then I come to /k/ and I see people talking about their shooting spots in state parks as well.
So whats the deal /k/, can I carry a long gun in state parks without getting hassled?
