I want a surplus rifle, Swiss K31 and the Mosin Nagant are two rifles i've been looking at and I can't decide. Which one should I get? any other suggestions are fine too
>>32237084
K31, its a better rifle. hold off on the mosins, their price is going to drop again back to $70 as millions more get imported in a couple years
K31 is better in every way save for price.
K31 will be more expensive and more difficult to feed
What kind of shotgun are you working with?
Had my 1100 for 4 years now and the thing runs like a fucking top, cheap as fuck to shoot birdshot too.

Remington 870 that i put way too much money into
What does /k/ think about flare guns?
I picked up a 26.5mm flare gun recently. It is of Soviet design, but was made by CZ some time post-war for export to East Germany.
These are pretty fun to shoot and have a pleasant kick.
Does anyone here have 26.5mm or 40mm flare guns? Share your experiences here.
These white flares are kind of spendy at ~$20/round. They're supposedly capable of lighting up 15 acres for 15 seconds. Haven't shot one of these off yet.

I'm too lazy and I want to bump
So are flareguns treated the same as firearms?
Where would I go about buying one like that?
How does /K/ feel about S&W making an X-frame revolver chambered for .38/357 or another cartridge like .44, .32, or .22LR?
If it was a ten shot 357 or a 8 shot 44 it be cool I guess
Completely pointless. The recoil on the 500's isn't what makes it hard to shoot, it's the weight of the gun.
Only if it's chambered in .357 mega magnum. That's a 5" long .357 magnum.
How does /k/ feel about carbine conversion kits/etc for handguns? I get that they're really just dumb range toys that are usually a bit too expensive for what they are, but I can't help but adore the way some of them look.
I guess general weird handgun accessory thread too.
the only decent one is the mechtech uppers for glocks, springfields, and 1911's.
>>32236232
Whats wrong with others exactly? I've never really been a fan of the way these ones look.
>>32236199
Another one of those "looks cool but is actually dumb things"
Worth it as a toy or training tool I guess
If I wanted to train someone on a AR I would rather get pic related or a Ar9 though
I just bought pic related, curious about other pellet rifles. What's the best? Any comparable to a .22 lr.?
Gamo Wildcat Whisper air rifle Inert Gas Technology (IGT) gas piston Breakbarrel Single-shot Shoots a .177 pellet at 1350 fps, .22 = 975 fps Whisper noise suppressing Technology reduces noise by 52% All-weather synthetic Monte Carlo stock Ventilated buttpad Manual trigger safety Steel jacketed, rifled barrel Includes 4x32mm scope Benefits of the IGT over a metal mainspring: Smoother cocking Smoother shooting No spring torque No spring fatigue, even if you leave it cocked for hours Functions perfectly in cold weather Lasts longer than a metal spring

This is just sad anon.
Hatsan 125 in .25 caliber.
>>32236259
What's sad about it? Its not like I don't other guns, I am sure I have 1 that you wish you had, this pellet gun might not be it but its similar in velocity as a .22 lr which is pretty fun being all mechanical and cheap ammo. I shoot small game with it no problem, pretty cheap fun.
Buy, trade, Create, Sell and get wood.

Oh, I have a MLGalil patch. I like it.
Also, this thread will probably be MURDERED in about 6 hours.
Also I definitely support the influx of Yotsuba images.

I think you're over-estimating /k/'s ability to shitpost and under-estimating the patch threads abilities to shitpost.

What do you think, /k/? Doesn't really seem to change that much from existing law, I was kind of hoping for more.

>>32236061
so do you want to explain why you're carrying a percussion revolver?
>>32236061
so you know if you ever actually need that and pull it on someone, youre going to fucking die, you know that right?
How badly would the 128mm Jagdtiger gun fuck up a sherman?
>>32235832
Seeing as its a tank hunter, it should do the job if the gunner hits the right spots.
>>32235832
I mean, what are you asking?
It would penetrate it. The crew's survivors would bail out. The tank would be taken out of action.
But that much is obvious. What more do you want?
How badly would the 128mm jagdtiger fuck up a t-14 armata?
The United States has not placed any restrictions on Japan's military at all. I'm sick of seeing people claim that the Japanese government is still under restrictions from WW2. They are not. Japan is free to build any type of ship of their choosing to the fullest extent that their budget will allow. They have a very solid navy.
The Japanese constitution gives them restrictions.
>>32235721
The Japs restrict themselves.
That said, they have a pretty good solid DEFENSIVE navy.
Too bad those small dicked yellow weaklings cant fight for shit
This saturday i was helping my dad out in our family scrapyard, when i saw something familiar poking out of one of the piles of scrap metal.
Long story short i've aquired a 1939 mosin with a weird front sight and no barrel shroud. What do?

>>32235702
Post pictures of you slowly cleaning it up over the course of a few months starting with the initial pictures in this thread.
Then, go shoot it and take pictures of targets. Then start spamming the board with pictures of your fucking Mosin every fucking day until we finally abandon that piece of shit rifle for the scrapheap that it already was in.
>>32235706
>>32235715
Yes, but first off i would like to state that the country I live in is highly restrictive on firearms, and that my probability of getting ammo for this thing without going metal detecting in a farmers field somewehre in Ukraine is pretty low.
I'm also pretty skooks if the popo decides to eyeball my exif data or if you decide to rat me out.
I'll get those pictures up in a min, though.
Hey /k/, does anyone have experience bringing firearms into State Parks in WA? I've heard answers ranging from "It's legal to carry and fire a loaded firearm in state parks" to "It's illegal to carry a firearm in state parks unless it's unloaded in a gun bag."
People have told me that the park rangers will hassle me and all sorts of things, but then I come to /k/ and I see people talking about their shooting spots in state parks as well.
So whats the deal /k/, can I carry a long gun in state parks without getting hassled?
>>32235245
>can I carry a long gun in state parks without getting hassled?
yes
>>32235256
I know I can legally, but can I do it practically?
First result from googling "firearms in Washington state parks"

How cheap can I go for .50 BMG?
I want to have some barely legal fun, but all the .50 cal rifles I've seen usually go for around $2,000
If 2k is too much for a rifle then the 5 dollars a shot will be too much too
>>32235114
Whats more fun that 50?
Building a suppressed gun
>>32235120
I'm sure reloading brass can knock that ppr down to $2
Which is about as much as buying factory made 45/70
Convince me not to buy a P10.
>>32234696
Appears to be a better looking Glock
>>32234696
If I didn't already have a Glock I'd consider it, but it's mags are also like $40 each based on what I saw for other cz mags.
