>ill never be able to drawr like this even if i practiced for the rest of my life.
Looking for criticism on some of my stuff. Anything is appreciated.
You should really focus on learning proper muscle placement. Also you do a lot of symbol drawing with your facial features. Keep at it though.
Try Hogarth, Loomis, or Bridgman
post in the beginner thread.
Take two seconds acquainting yourself with a board before you make posts on it. This goes for everywhere.
anyone know what this style is called? i know its a take on 1800s typography but thats it

What a terrible logo, can barely read the fucking thing.

Amazing artist. His style is influenced by Art Nouveau/Jugendstil, I suggest you look into that.

victorian hand-lettering?
I'm a beginner to art, and I'd like some advice. I've got photoshop, but no graphics tablet. For one question, what are some good extensions/things to do with PS? I have CS6, btw. As for graphics tablets, what are some fairly cheap but fairly good ones? I'm on a rather tight budget. Any help is very much appreciated.
Ignore the image, totally not related.

buy the new 120 huion or a run of the mill wacom. Learn through ctrl paint and read the sticky. Never make your own thread again post in the question thread.
By the way picking up drawing is a shitty new years resolution and youll never make it.
So I have this art piece due tomorrow and its like pure shit. I'm allowed to edit it online but like idk what can be done. Supposing I scan this piece and get it into Photoshop, can it be resurrected? Anyone have experience and can show me what to do? I'm a lazy ass and really don't want to restart but if I have to I will lol.

1. foreground stuff is in silhouette but the shit on the left is completely bright even in shadow
2. perspective is ass
3. bright colored light in the sky is colored really well but doesnt show up on the left outcrop.
it wouldnt be bad if you just deleted the entire left outcrop.
All the visual arrows lead to literally nothing except light yellows lol. I want that sign to burn in hell.

you are totally right about that crop lol, thank man
Just got a tablet for Christmas and have been playing with it for a few days, and even though I've never been much of a painter I've been enjoying this immensely. Does anybody out there have any experience with ArtRage and can offer any tips? Or maybe just point me in the direction of other great tablet painting software?
Link related. Me painting feathers on a duck's ass. Because that's where my skill level is atm. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eORO2BudiBo

What materials did Theodor Kittelsen used for his ilustrations (such as pic related)?
Is it pastel?
Looks like its been done in oils to me

I think it's probably done with Gouache.
>>2334256
I have read that it was gouchae: you have a great eye.
But for me it is a problem: I have no idea of how to work with gouache.
I need your help /ic/
I've been thinking about creating a video game set in a cyberpunk setting, where the protagonist is, in a way, blind. He/She perceives the surrounding in a different, more artificial spectrum due to the augumentations.
My question is, can anyone recommend some aesthetic that would make the world seen by the protagonist appealing? All I can think of are really simple, unattractive designs that would bore anyone to death.
Video and pic somewhat related to the topic, also sorry for the shit quality on the vid, that's the only one I could find on yt, I'd recommend to just mute the sound

How's that dryin, bub? Looks like a pretty smooth clay. Have you hollowed out the back? Lots of differences in thickness puts a lot of stress on pieces. The thinner areas dry faster than the rest so they start to contract first and cracks begin. I like to wrap extremities in plastic, then drape paper towels over them, put them on a damp plaster bat, triple plastic wrap the whole thing for a week to even everything out, only then begin the drying process. The paper towels on top of the piece catch condensation drips in there.
From there, you can take a couple routes for drying safe and slow:
A few hours a day, tent some newspaper over it to protect it from drafts, then wrap it back up. Repeat until bone dry.
Orrr, enclose it in a big cardboard box with a little bowl of water with a sponge in it (to act as a wick) inside with it. Kind of a ghetto humidified drying box.
Oh, and bisque fire reallly fucking slow. Like a 200ºF preheat/candle for 12 hours, and a 10+ hour schedule.
i sculpt anime figures to jizz on
How are my shitty plaster models gonna get better if no one else makes em!?
/ic/ is basically just an illustration board at this stage, which is openly hostile to contemporary art.
I'd love if there was a greater variety of artists here, but I can't help you out OP as I don't work in plaster!
I'd like to hear more details about what you've shown here, like size and purpose etc.

>/ic/ is basically just an illustration board at this stage
That's unfortunate
>which is openly hostile to contemporary art.
