I made tis film for my junior thesis film at USC. I shot it over three days with a four person crew so it was sort of rushed bu I'm happy with the result. Watch it, tell me what you think, and share it with your friends!

hi there
i've been drawing on and off for a while, but i just came to the realization how bad i really am because i was trapped very early to depend on reference pics. i'm making an effort to draw from imagination. any tips? any resources recommended?
i used a random noun generator, and it gave me 'soup'. i sat for a minute or two and thought of a scene. what are you guys' creative thought processes?

keep drawing stuff you love or want to draw from imagination and incorporate reference as you go to improve on whatever needs to be improved, whether it be anatomy, proportions, color, etc...It's the best way to get better and not get stuck doing random studies that mean nothing in the end

Yo guys, how you doin'?
I'm trying to find some nice books to learn more about painting/coloring techniques. I only use digital media for now, but I guess even a book about oils could help me a lot. If possible, I'm looking for a book that not only gets into theory, but talks also about procedures with step by step.
Do you recommend me any book?

My first take on oil painting, man it is hard to find the color i want and details are hard to do, i need i smaller brush. And there's no ctrl+z IRL. Art academy on Wii u got me inspired into this.

Intuos Pro is what I've had for 3+ years and not once have I encountered an issue that wasn't resolved by updating the drivers.
Imo it's the perfect balance between a professional tablet and an affordable price.

They maybe human photocopying machines but from what I hear, many of these painters were trained as artists but there apparently is no market for original paintings it seems for them(guess they haven't discovered the wonders of patreon)
