I just wanted to know, if any of you guys uses an online drawing course to learn the fundamentals. They weren't mentioned in the sticky and i really want to focus my practice and make good use of my drawing time. I'm thinking about subscribing to one, but don't know which one is appropriate.
Until now i looked at New Masters Academy, Drawing Academy and Schoolism.
Thanks
Does really nobody use an online course
Watts lad.
New Masters Academy is great. Very cheap and very high level instructors
I'd say getting a New Masters Academy subscription and Proko's content is probably the best "deal" out there when it comes to online content, but there is no "critiques" or one on one instruction so you're only able to passively take from it what you can get.
So I made these "vases" >bongs but lately I've been feeling uninspired I don't smoke anymore cuz I get paranoid what do I do

Observe how Hamada throws a closed form. Pay attention to his use of a throwing stick, the way he collars the neck while keeping a vertical lip, and maintains control of the shoulder by keeping it convex at all times.

Try to watch Leach throw a coil neck onto a closed form while he blows your mind with master craftsman philosophy.
I want to dock with them

"“Right may not be expedient. It may not be profitable, but it will satisfy your soul.”
Said by Maya Angelou when talking about her mother and a painting by Phoebe called Sister Souki’s Funeral. The quote is taken from the TV show Oprah Presents Master Class, and on January 16, 2011, Maya Angelou was on episode 3."

This is an illustration board, not an art board.

piece in question? you're probably delusional and polishing turds
>>2472670
>someone posts a pretty decent piece
>nobody says anything
>after a long time a couple people compliment it
>NOW tell them it sucks and they need to go back to the basics

Reminds me of A Wyatt Mann cartoons, was this intentional?
What is it about growing up in American suburbia that creates some of the world's most artistic minds?
>>2471176
It depends on how white the neighborhoods are
>>2471180
Almost every suburb in American is majority white or Asian (honorary white).
There's nothing to do here. You either get married and have kids young and be content with your lower middle class life, become a meth-head or create shit.
Why is the shit sticky with the shit advice still stickied, what happened to the effort for the more improved sticky without so much garbage misleading newbies?
ayy lmao
you really think mods give a fuck about /ic/'s sticky?
i dunno
isn't it on google docs?
it was looking really good
anyone got the improved sticky, then?

Post your current drawing here and give constructive critique to others!
Please make sure your posted image is clear, downsized to around 1000 pixels wide, rotated to the correct orientation, and that any unused space is cropped.
If you want critique on a drawing from the previous thread, you can delete it there and repost in this one.

So the archer is just going to one shot the giant serpent?
Doesn't seem likely. From what I see the archer is a millisecond away from certain death.

Superb
Hey /ic/
I want to learn how to draw well. I don't expect to be picasso, but i just want to be comfortable to be able to draw most things and make it look like what i'm drawing. Where do i start? How much practise time should i be putting in?
sticky
beginner thread
Stop being a retard and actually lurk the board you post on for half an hour before making your own shitty thread.
>>2473271
Wouldn't this actually belong in the question thread?
>>2473280
His questions are answered by the sticky, the work that results from his learning belong in the beginner thread.
How do people get better at drawing? Besides just practice. Do you reference draw more? Do you follow guides? Take classes?
>>2472703
We do ALL the advice, then whatever helps us, we continue to use.
>>2472703
Well I'm not even close to what you're posting here but.
Yes, yes, no classes, and I kinda do it for the fun.
For your pic, anatomy has improved over two years but it's also a lot due to new materials. (Just telling that special drawing paper and 15 kind of pencils may help after all)
>>2472703
You suck a big dick. don't post here.
DUDE
>>2471403
Well do You?
No, but after seeing this I might try.
The thing is they dont base on hard work or talent, the do it by likes on fb... -_- I find it so unfair, bc I really work my ass off practicing at home. I'm not the best but Im here to improve.
I would have you arrested if you sent that into my contest.
;-; it's that ugly?
Pass the link, I'll like that shit
Which mangaka/comic book artist draws the best men in action in your opinion?
Boichi is really good

Akira has some of the best action ever
What do /ic/ think about digital art magazines?
>What does /ic/ think of XYZ
Why do you care? Let me tell you. You don't. The only reason these threads exist is to create a shitstorm. Here's how they always pan out:
>Op asking the question "WHAT DO AI SEE THINK"
>some people like it
>more people like it
>one person doesn't really like it
>people attack this guy
>"post your work" x 1000
>this is now about proving you can do better rahter than giving critique based on what you have to say.
>people disregard any critique and demand this guy has to show that he is good enough to give said critique, which wasn't even the point.
>thread 404
>rinse and repeat

¿What do you think?
¿did someone in the past ask the same question?
¿is it 4chan?
ask the question
I subscribed to it for a year back in 2012-2013. It had some good workshops every once in a while (Sparth, Dave Rapoza) but most were average and some were awful so I didn't feel that the good content made up for it. Not a bad publication but better to just buy the issues with your favorite artists and skip the ones with a lot of filler.
