Whenever I read a Christian philosophy book my faith weakens. Whenever I read the bible my faith is strengthened and renewed.
Christian theologians should have never fell for the philosophy meme. Church father, Aquinas, you name it. They're all terrible. It's a stumbling block.
They should have listened to the verse that says
Colossians 2:8
See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ.

You have to understand that the christian faith was challenged and losing to Aristotle's methods of philosophy to Muslims until Aquinas come into the scene.

What was unique about Germany that made it so nationalistic as early as 1850, and then for almost a century? Why when countries like France and Hungary were dealing with Republican toned revolutionaries in 1848, the Frankfurt Assembly sought demands based on nationalist rhetoric? They were even relative liberals, so it's hardly a question of right vs left. This was also prior to Schönerer and his ilk.
Was/is nationalism a result of the issue of German unification? Was unification simply Germany's "problem"? (French republicanism, Italian self determination, balkan independence, British continentialism)

Im an Australian, currently on vacations in the U.S. I realized that the African American population seem to all be named Nick Kerr? Is that a cultural thing, or ancestry name passed from slavery? They usually say something along the lines:

I think it would be more easier to tell each other apart if they had seperate mames, but they all seem to be named Nick Kerr.

When the Japanese invaded, China wasn't Communist; you had an ongoing civil war between the KMT "Nationalists" and the communist insurgency/revolt.
Not to mention that Mao actually didn't like the Soviets that much; he thought they were controlling and domineering and committed to locking in his revolutionary movement into a model that wouldn't work very well in China, one based around mobilizing an urban proletariat population that was tiny and almost powerless. So as it stood, you actually had Soviet military advisors to the KMT helping them (a little) stamp out fellow communists. Chuikov, the guy who commanded the defense of Stalingrad, was one such person at the outbreak of the German-Soviet war.

Help me understand the Falange /his/. From what I have read they are National Syndicalist, as in they want to replace Capitalism with a system where workers are divided up into small syndicates, and they are in control of the productive forces of that syndicate. My question is that it sounds almost communistic, as the syndicates seem to be little more than communes. What's more they're supposed to be Fascist , so what gives?

The Falange is really similar to Strasser's national socialism.
Remember that the Falange was pretty much the same as the anarcho-syndicalists except with catholic values and decency. Both of them seek to gain support from the syndicates but the FAI won so shit happened.
It's socialism/communism for only one nation with extra LARPing, disregarding the rest.

There's a topic in spanish history that is about the involvement of the syndicalists in the fall of the Spanish Republic. That's because the Falange was supported by many syndicates, which didn't care being called leftists or right-wing.

So why is Syndicalism referred too as fascism when it's much more akin to some type of communism? Hell, the Falange flag's colors were even based off that of the anarchist C.N.T. And were they ever monarchist? The gist I got was that the monarchist of the Nationalist side were the Alfonsoist and the Carlist.
