If the Confederacy won the Civil War, would it have been able to conquer areas like Cuba, Mexico, Central America, etc. or would the Union make an attempt at reconquering it given the Union's superior industry?
Also, what steps could the Confederacy have taken to actually been successful in seceding? Would it have been able to win under any circumstances, perhaps if draft riots became severe enough and Lincoln lost in 1864?

Of course. Especially given that the most likely method for a Confederacy "victory", i.e. to hold on a bit better, hope that McClellan wins the election, and negotiate with him, still leaves an enormous chunk of the confederacy occupied by Union troops, which I doubt even McClellan would feel inclined to give back.

Long term, none, really. At least in the short term, if they can hold up better in the west, they've got a chance to wear down the Union will to fight this time around.

I think the plan was to keep the war going until Britain or France got involved on the CSA's side. There were talks of that in Parliament and Britain did make a few ships for the confederacy.

Hamilton proposed an alternative to the Presidential system we have now, in which the President would essentially serve as an elected monarch, title and all, for a term of good behavior, meaning for life so long as they did nothing that would result in them being impeached.
While many did oppose Hamilton's proposal, it was Washington's humility and refusal to accept such a title that properly consigned it to the annals of history.
Hereditary rule and absolutism were likely never considered by the Founding Fathers, and if they were, only the fringe minority of their group supported such ideas.

The Japanese while developing Korea, Taiwan and parts of China did also act our some rather cruel acts. The response to rebellions or dissent was often brutal, Korean culture was put on a back burner and Japanese was taught and children took Japanese names in an effort to remove Korean culture, comfort women and forced labourers in ww2 were quite cruel.
While Japanese rule in Korea (and Taiwan) didn't stack up to the Belgian Congo or even French Algeria in brutality it wasn't without cruelty. Pic is from Taiwan from the Musha incident.

Is there any humanity worse than economics? It's ridiculous. First you read this 1000 page document with ridiculously long empirical evidence making you realize how correct Mr. Smith the father of everything everyone disagrees with ever says, then later on you learn the entirety of what his system is based on, in regards to aggregate supply and demand, is not only wrong, thanks to Keynes, but that the FUCKING METRICS FOR HOW HE DERIVES VALUE IN THE FIRST PLACE FROM THE MATERIALS EMPLOYED MAY HAVE BEEN THE WRONG APPROACH.
At this point, there isn't too much else to say against his theory holding ANY water at all except that every single economist who wrote anything after The Wealth of Nations just takes a shit on him. It's like Adam Smith is everyone's bitchboy. "Oh, you wrote a thousand page treatise that is fucking long as shit and tedious for anyone who has any interest in this subject I'm writing about? FUCK YOU RETARD". And they just pick something to shit on Smith for.
For instance, Ricardo, less than half a century later, just decides to shit all over Smith's theory of price realizing itself in wages, akin to cheesecaking Smith right on his face while he's sleeping. Or shitting in his cereal and not telling him after.
Then, it's Henry George's turn. He takes a shit on supple Adam Smith's face AND Ricardo AND Mill and says that the essential factor at play is the fact that interest increases or decreases with wages. THE OPPOSITE OF WHAT ANYONE SAID.
AND I STILL DON'T KNOW WHAT DETERMINES THE VALUE OF A GOOD AND WHEN INFLATION SETS IN.

Honestly, the last two works I've read, Carl Menger and Henry George, are basically turning everything on its head for me, but maybe it's just bad luck and I'll run into a stint of better literature soon on the subject.
imhothofam I would hope economics has a decisive decision on the state of how economics works, instead of the flawed quantity theory circulated by various Austrian economists.
