>Well, I think a lot of web programmers do not really know how to program.
>If someone is going to be offended that a potential employer asks them to reverse a linked list in an interview -- something that seems a bit trendy in the web world lately and several such articles have made the HN front page -- then look, that person does not really know how to program, so of course they think it's hard to do basic stuff. Such a person's opinion on how hard things are is not that relevant to how hard they are given a reasonable background education.
>Probably this sounds snobby to some people, but look, programming well is a never-ending pursuit, you can spend your whole life getting better, but it won't help anyone advance if we all pretend that everyone is good already.

How can you not know how to reverse a linked list? As soon as you understand how the thing is built, you intuitively understand how to reverse it.

https://www.wired.com/2016/06/clever-attack-uses-sound-computers-fan-steal-data/
Now the lab’s team has found yet another way to undermine air-gapped systems using little more than the sound emitted by the cooling fans inside computers. Although the technique can only be used to steal a limited amount of data, it’s sufficient to siphon encryption keys and lists of usernames and passwords, as well as small amounts of keylogging histories and documents, from more than two dozen feet away.
>not using silent fans
Noctua stock increases 8000%.
same shit can be done with hi res photographs of a human face and observing minute muscle movements and shit, now imagine that inside of google glass, there will be no secrets in the future
>The attack, like all previous ones the researchers have devised for air-gapped machines, requires the targeted machine first be infected with malware
only windows is affected lmao
>>55305426
If I understand this correctly, this would be effective on water cooled systems as they could just hijack the radiator fans instead of a CPU/GPU fan (case fan and PSU fan would still be in use).

A long wait

For Nvidia poorfans. Just to qualify that remark.

We don't even know if it's real, much less when it'll be released. The early leaks of the 1080 came months before it was even announced, let alone the paper launch.

Can you get a battery pack case for the Oneplus One? I literally can't find any.
Also, why wouldn't you buy it? It has enough spec to do mostly everything and will run for 10-15 days.

You have complete control over your system. Feels good to work hard, buy something and own it, then control everything on it.

is it worth upgrading now to the 1070 from an R9 390 or should I wait a year?
Currently for 1080p/60hz gaming but I'm hoping to eventually upgrade to 1440p sometime in the future
>>55304862
I'd wait things out as the 1070 is a memecard. Technically neither is truly released as of yet. 1080 will likely be what you need to see any improvement especially if you upgrade your monitor. Typical Nvidia fashion the cards are overpriced and unavailable. Wait it out for a month or two then check again.

woz would have been a poor highschool teacher if it wasn't for jobs. Engineers are autists who have no vision and are too timid to see the big picture. Xerox was going to let the OS they had sit in a room of an office as just an experiment. Jobs saw it once and brought it to masses. He say the world 3 steps ahead of itself. Jobs changed the world MULTIPLE times. Unfourtunatley he wasn't so smart about his own health.
here's jobs at 24 years old. what the fuck are you doing with your life at his age?

So I'm searching for an external camera for my phone. Not a lens, like pic related. Does anyone know a good external camera for Android? (micro USB), and what are the pros and cons about it?
buy an actual camera you mongoloid
I saw that you can use a webcam with an OTG cable. Is that any good?

Nah, I want to have good pictures on my phone without using a different camera, just using my phone. No need to act like a dick.
