I want caps that differ for finger, to help me learn touch typing.
A board with custom caps (per key) is available at one of the major resellers, but it's on the expensive side (as all things custom)
Are the RGB backlit keyboards capable of setting up such a scheme?
Currently looking at the massdrop for the code keyboard. Any one have experience with them?

Everyones accusing win10 for spying when they really are doing the same shit they have always done, no one says a word about some of the rediculous permissions most apps require on the android market, like, why does angrybirds need to read my text and gps data?
android AND windows 10 are botnets
just because google servies spies and allows others to spy doesn't make it windows 10 suddenly good
>>55312499
Never said that it made it suddenly good. Just saying, people focus their hate only on os's they hate, and ignore when the ones they like pull the same shit. its retarded.

Google play services is the botnet not Android
Hey /g/,
I've got a precision m3800 with a corei7, 16gb of ram, a 256gb ssd and a 512gb drive. I dual boot windows 10 and Ubuntu 14.04lts, but spend 98% of my in Ubuntu.
It has been pretty damn solid for the last 2 and 1/2 years, but recently has been behaving strangely making me think it might be starting to die.
Having 16gb of ram was really nice previously because I was doing some big data / machine learning stuff and I could run a lot of experiments right on my laptop, but currently I just need to run a handful of virtual machines with vagrant so I'm debating whether I need 16gb, since it looks like a lot of machine are just including 8gb now.
Previously I had a macbook pro I had inherited from a job but opted for my dell because it was cheaper with better specs.
If I am in the market for something now, what should I get? 13 inch Dell XPS? New super thin HP spectre? Another fully loaded 15 incher?
My budget is about 2k, but it would be pretty nice to spend less.
Thanks.

ya blew it

I suppose so, but I was won over by the form factor of the m3800.

Hey /G/ one question what is the absolute CHEAPEST gaming rig I can build for 1080p 60fps ultra? Pic related it's my current "Gaming" System... yes it's an alienware and it sucks

i5 4460
RX480
8gb ram
buy me coffee
>>55312502
i5 6400 is better because you can upgrade to a 6700 in 2-3 years, whereas the 4790 won't be readily available by then.
Building a computer. PCpartpicker estimates 530 watts from components.
Looking at an EVGA power supply, 80+gold rated, 650 watts. Is that enough? Can't afford the next step up at the moment but dont wanna wait for next paycheck. Should I wait or?
650 is fine, that's plenty of headroom and even enough for a little expansion if you need it to later on.
OP here might be important.
AMD cpu and gpu. If that makes a difference.

>the Radeon RX 480 is said to cause lots of artifacts with a mere 5% overclock. A 7% overclock will cause the system to freeze entirely. This means that a average overclock of 1350 MHz is possible with the Radeon RX 480 while anything near the 1400 MHz will crash the card. It could be due to thermal instability due to the cheaper cooler design which we had discussed here

See emacs-devel.

Disgusting
>>55311350
It's dumb. At the point you're ditching the userland (and the "develop kernel and userland together" model along with it) there's little reason to not switch the kernel to Linux too.
