Is the LG G4 still the phone to get even with the probability that it will bootloop ?
Am i better off with a 5x ? The 6p was too big for me sadly.
Moto G 4 Plus 4GB RAM 64GB or Moto X Pure 3GB RAM 16GB?
Both for $300

With the recent massive influx of GPU threads and retarded generals I think its about time that more tech boards are created. I mean for fucks sake Japanese Cartoons have like 5 boards and fucking technology, the thing that allows us to post on the website, has 1 board that has gone to shit. The only solution is to move to another *chan, where multiple tech boards habe existed for a while, or finally integrate it here. Something like /li/ for GNU+Linux, /prog/ for programming.
What boards do you reccomend if any?
>inb4 /g/ has been shit for years
we know
>inb4 it wont happen
Yeah, well it wouldn't hurt to have a discussion.
Stay saline Lincuck
>>55508025
It's been suggested for a very long time a /consumer/ board gets made for GPUs, smart phones, watches, etc.
there is only one board for anime which is /a/, so you're wrong.
What does hacking mean to you, /g/?
Dubs Hacking
Recurring digits
>>55507372
Useless threads made by tech illiterate morons cluttering /g/ catalog.
Do you already plan on buying one of the new HTC Nexuses without knowing the exact specs and looks? Well I do.
>>55507037
Then you blame apple users for being senseless consumers
How big is this thing supposed to be?
Would consider a 5" or smaller Android phone with good specs at a good price, but all the "smaller" phones (which are still huge) seem performance compromised.
>>55507037
That shit looks just like a knockoff iPhone 6s.
Yo telling me Alphabet can't come up with their own design?
What happened to netbooks?
Tablets happened.
they're called hybrid laptops now
>>55506790
>tablets killed netbooks
>son of netbooks -the convertible/2-in-ones killed tablets
It's like pottery it rhymes.
Why is it that if you want a decent laptop nowadays you must accept a shitty compromise?
On the left: shitty hardware, 800% markup
On the right: disgusting operating system, shit battery life
>>55506640
I don't get it. They cost almost the same for similar specs. What's your point about the Macbook?

lol, you are too stupid to be able to install an OS? hahaha, loser

Do I need to tell you the difference between 1800 and 2800 or can you into math?
What is /g/s choice in mobile phone?
Definite not an iPhone, I hope

Like what, play video games? There hasn't been a good PC game released since 2007. Program? If you're trying to program on a non-UNIX system you're a fucking retard, everybody uses OS X or Linux for that.

When is the password manager meme going to end? Password managers were literally created so that governments, hackers, etc can consolidate all your private info in one easy to access place.
you don't know shit about password managers, do you ?
>>55503974
Only true for pw managers stored in 'the cloud'
The cloud is the real meme
>>55504004
not OP but i share his opinion.
Instead of having to figure out where someone goes to on the internet and try and hack their email account, then reset every password, (if you're lucky) you now need to crack one password and you get everything you want to know. a full list of websites, usernames, passwords. all behind a single line of defense.

you could try a minimal installation of debian with tinyWM, but that thing is slow. you might as well buy some used chinkpad for 30 bucks.
