Why does AMD produce such low quality unstable garbage?

The only piece of hardware that blew up on me was a ASUS x58 mobo in the last 10 years.
That's it.
No GPUs, no HDDs, no SSDs, no PSUs.
How are people so retarded with their hardware?

You got lucky
they overclock the shit out of hardware just to hide the fact theyre 5 years behind Nvidia

I have to use Mac OS sometimes at work and their interface is SO FRUSTRATING. How do Macfags even manage?
>How do Macfags even manage?
They take it in to the rear end and love it

I've had this problem. Navigate directory in terminal and use `open .` command
I have to use it at work too. For the life of me I can't figure out how to traverse to the users folder. It stops at desktop.
The unnecessary desktop animations make me think I'm going to start wearing a scarf and sip fair trade coffee
Has anyone here ever made a ethkill cable before?
It a power plug to a RJ45 jack, and should kill anything that its plugged into. I'm not sure how much damage to the board it will do, but it might be fun to see 240v on a motherboard.
>>55509759
I've used one, it's pretty fun
>>55509759
I've used this before on a commiecast router before returning it

Plug of doom is more fun. It's also more likely to accidentally kill you / burn your house down

What if there was a board such as /gpol/ where all posts about government spying and what kind of political movement big tech companies support would go, and we would finally be free to discuss Linux distros and make fun of GPU brands in peace without the /pol/tards?

Why is it that everytime people say you're annoying, you blame it on tumblr and liberals?
Is it really hard to conceive that you might just be fucking annoying?
It's like those trash radio hosts constantly playing the victims to "liberal censorship" when people call them out for being intolerant assholes, when the problem is not that they're right wing, it's that they're assholes, and they're not being censored, they're being called out.
You are just unliked and unlikable. Learn to deal with it because you can only go being so annoying in real life without getting your ass kicked.

I've had 1,5 semester of Java programming at Uni, but I never learned how to solve real problems with it. We covered basic stuff such as oop, standard libraries and concurrency, and I have developed a simple 2d game in libgdx as an assaignment.
What kind of stuff should I learn to get a decent job in Java/Scala after I graduate next summer?

You should practice with some books. There's Elements Of Programming Interviews, it's a good book

I despise virtual keyboards, I want a qwerty one. I looked up so many phones, but there is always something wrong (usually the fact that amazon.com doesn't deliver to UK, and amazon.co.uk is shit with phones).
I wondered if blackberry is still a good option. I like their speed and the fact that they have keyboards. Problem is - would they run whatsapp, fb messenger and slack? (Slack not essential)
Also I heard they have a different kind of network, so would it be a hassle, or not? (Got a lebara sim card, which provides internet to my xperia phone right now if that helps)
So, blackberry users and phone experts, HELP!
Also, I would use it just for communication, I have no interest in funny apps and games.
Blackberry has a native facebook and whatsapp app, whatsapp will drop the support at the end of this year but luckily you can sideload the android version which works perfectly fine (BB OS10 can run android apps). There is a native slack app, I haven't used it though. Reviews seem to indicate that it is fine.

>I have no interest in funny apps and games
In that case a blackberry is pretty much perfect. I'm using a Q5, which is the lowend BB OS10 device, I think, and it runs perfectly fine, no laggy interface, everything is perfectly responsible.
If you're looking for a smartphone with a physical keyboard, then the Blackberry Priv is pretty much the only phone that I know of that has one. Definitely not the best Android smartphone out there, but it's got your niche. Haven't heard of any network quirks, your sim should work just fine.

Assembly language re-entered the top 10 langage ranks.
Who knew that they counted you neets in the figure?
How comfy is ASM?
>>55509180
It's only comfy if you are programming for some embedded system. That way you can fuck with the inputs and outputs directly
CISC x86 programming is not comfy since you will have a constant urge to just use C
>>55509152
Daily reminded RollerCoaster Tycoon 1 and 2 were made fully in ASM by a single man.
Also yeah, the only use for it is on embeded systems or microcontrollers, it's pretty much godmode.
Okay, /g/. I'm a largely tech-illiterate person who wants to try Linux. I am largely wanting to switch so that the NSA and Microsoft can't spy on me. What are some good distros (distributions/versions of Linux) I can try?

Lets just say I would like to make my own kernel in my spare time, which format should i go with:
Monolithic, Micro, Hybrid or Uni Kernel?
So if you want your Kernel to have potential to be the next Linux, avoid Monolithic or Hybrid. You won't be able to compete.
So I suggest micro or uni.
>>55509240
I love some of the aspects of a Micro and Uni kernel system (faster boot times, self-healing, etc.), but from what I read, it seems as though they only ever could work through VM's.
