How much does it cost?
What good free caching software is out there for Windows? I'm planning on adding an additional 64GB of ram to my build and I want to use it as a ramdisk and use that for obscenely fast cache.
>I use a server board with 16 dimm slots and I've got 8 left, I have 32GB now
>inb4 persistence
I'll be saving the data on the ramdisk to two 32 GB SSDs in RAID 0 for a 64GB ramdisk
Install Gentoo.
>>55602974
you are asking the same people that ignored your post yesterday.
Just runmount -o size=32G,noatime /home/ramdisk

Such things happen when you've only 2 brain cells.

this looks like shit
Is this piece of shit the only thing ever made with open source software? I feel like puking every single time I open anything related to open source software because that's always the only example they have to show.

Hey, I got a Samsung gear VR as a present, turns out my phone (Moto x Style) is not compatible with it. Is there not a option to make it work? I was pretty hyped for VR.
Buy an S7

Only Samsung Galaxy™ phones can use Gear VR.

Help me out /g/ , I want to download all the images in a thread and archive html page along in GNU/Linux.
I am messing around with the scripts I found on https://www.commandlinefu.com/commands/matching/4chan/NGNoYW4=/sort-by-votes
But none of them seems to be working currently. Please help me fellow /g/entoomen.
tl;dr : need a 4chin image downloader on linux
>in b4 rm -f /
Any help will be appriciated
4chan has a dead simple API, but if even minimal scripting is beyond you, just use https://github.com/FoolCode/FoolFuuka
>>55602844
Thank you, I am checking it out. Also I will check out the 4chan API.
TL;DR I want my bloat back so I can rice
I "debloated " my Droid Razr M XT907 with a poo in loo script that marked live wallpapers as bloat and deleted the apk without a trace. I already tried downloading other apks for it and it crashes when selecting a wallpaper. /wsr/ was useless
Just buy a new phone.

I'll get a Moto G 4 later on but my best interest would be fixing this

Hey, /g/. Not sure if this is your realm or more of /mu/s, but I'll start here.
I picked up a pair of Bose soundtrue 2 headphones to replace my HD202. I didn't expect the inline mic to work with my PC, but a friend said an audio splitter would get it going, which would be a nice little bonus. My question is would a splitter noticeably degrade the sound quality?
>>55602574
>would a splitter noticeably degrade the sound quality?
No
But it also won't work
>>55602628
I'm an idiot and posted a pic of the wrong type of splitter.
>>55602574
>>55602661
I've got no idea, but you could always just buy a splitter and try it, I would guess that you can get one on eBay for like £2 or less
Or if you want to know the answer first then G O O G L E
I just got the Galaxy S6 edge. It's on sale for like 200 dollars off so I thought it might be a good buy. I'm liking it so far. Just a couple questions:
I've watched numerous drop tests. What is the real deal with this phone? The curved edges make me nervous.
What are some cool apps that take advantage of fast processor speed and the edges?
Inb4 edgy
I have one and you're going to want to take it back asap. It is very tough and I have only broken the back glass but the battery DIES SO FUCKING FAST. Enjoy 2-3 hours of screen on time with intense battery conservation.

What are you working on, /g/?
I am currently working on my lisp. How easy would it be to make it use a jit library?
>>55602501
Thank you for not using a political image
>>55602533
Have you already got a non-JIT bytecode compiler up and running?

Thinking about messing with the rendering of a program to make it pulse the intensity of images ever 0.5 to 2.4 seconds in a predefined pattern.
