A 950 should be roughly equivalent to a 750. Because of that, comparing a 950 with a 780 is similar to comparing a 950 to a slightly downgraded 980, where the decrease in power on the 780 is still nowhere near enough to make it worse than a 950. Same concept for Intel and AMD CPUs as well as AMD GPUs.
For more clarification, try googling "Nvidia GTX 950 vs Nvidia GTX 780" and looking at the specs.

1. comes from third party and has you disable OS defenses
2. Pokemon GO has 'full privileges' when installed I believe until the most recent updates.
3. where are you going to get the updates from?
