Man is this shit boring, did I fall for a meme again.
You sure did. You're also now on a list somewhere.
Hey /g/,
I was just wondering how safe it is to buy illegal shit from the darknet. Should I just stay away from it if I'm not really tech-savy? DO you have any tips on increasing the safety? I would really appreciate any answers and personal experiences.

What the actual fuck were you thinking anon?

What exactly is wrong about that? There are most likely people here with experience in darknet markets, so why not ask here?

I'm looking for a DSLR with an audio input microphone with a wide angle lens or ability to get a wide angle lens.
I'm looking at the price being under $450 refurbished models are ok.
I want to record in 1080p and be able to attach my Rode microphone to it so audio quality is not important just great video with auto focus that isnt' super slow.
I do some lower light shots so i'd like something that will handle low light performance.
Is there anything that comes close to this? Doesn't have to be dslr if the camer has a decent enough microphone or if there is a way I can record quality audio on a separate device.
Image related: I can't afford it.

Decent auto focus in video is the only hard part.
Even with an image sensor that has special phase detection AF pixels it's going to be meh at best.
If you can live without auto focus you could get a cheap manual focus only lens.
Btw, d5300 its 1080p | 60fps and new nikon lenses compatibility. Dont forget a polarized filter.

Just got in a shipment of 1000ft on-call rated cat6a cable.
Redoing my house network with it but I only need around 200 feet of it at most. Apart from making a couple crossover cables what can I use it for? Is anybody in my area in need of it? I'd be happy to help a broke /g/oer out.
>>55739644
In-wall rated*
Autocorrect is terrible.
>>55739644
I am knowledge- broke.
Is there any good reference between in-house rated and out-doors? My boss also mentioned a difference between data and electric cable when it comes to CAT5/CAT6.
My CCNA makes no mention of it so far in the books.
Thank you in advance for any sources or explanations of info.

Run the rest of it underground out to the forest and put a wifi AP out in the middle of nowhere see if anyone will connect to it then charge them for access and become your own ISP.
is this a good drone /g/? im looking to get something between 400 and 600 dollary doos. beginner-friendly as well
suggestions?
Yeah the phantom 3 is one of the best drones out there. good for aerial cinematography. it's pretty expensive though. it really depends on what you're looking for.
>>55739784
a quick google search turned out they are 500-600 dollars. does that sound right?
For aerial photography? Yes. For racing/acro/fun flying? Hell no.
I'm wondering whether I should save up and get a really good gaming pc or get this fucking thing for my Dell Inspiron 3520 and a used GPU. I'll probably just save up for a gaming desktop.
You should save up for a gaming desktop.
I bought the ExpressCard version, gonna pair it up with a gtx 950.
It'll probably arrive the next year though because Gearbest a shit.

How would you go from laptop motherboard -> video card -> laptop screen?
Hey /g/
I'm bored and found myself with a significant amount of free time and decided to be productive and do something fun that would also help my career.
I'm debating which book to run through (pic related). Anyone have experience with either or recommend another? Strong points are C++/C# so Java can fuck right off.
What the fuck does what language you use have to do with those books
>>55739454
Right one uses C++ as it's base. There's a Java version of it as well.
This is another sympton of what's wrong with computers today.
Hey /g/!
I have one question about in-ear earbuds that has boggled me for the entirety of my life
How do you wear them?
More specifically, How deep do they go in? I just found out that you dont actually put the ear buds deep in your ear canal. I've seen people wear it like ear pods, where its just resting by the flap on your ear lobe.
You are supposed to put them in your ear. That's why they're called IEMs. The people who are wearing them loose are doing it wrong. They're supposed to form a seal.
How does /g/ feel about the fx-8320?
hi facebook frank
I fell for that meme about 3 years ago, it gets hot as shit even, slightly better after undervolting. Better off getting an i5
>>55739347
As a person who's owned one for 3 years, it's ok. Iny personal experience, the heat is a meme. There are probably better options from Intel now, but I don't really pay attention to new processors if I don't plan on updating, and I doubt that I'll do that anytime soon, since it does everything I need it to (Vidya and shitposting).
What's the best 1440p IPS I can get for around $500 or less? I know the Dell IPSs have a good reputation, but what are some other good options?
>>55739269
There are none. U2715H is the best 1440p ips under $500
>>55739269
Got 2 25" ones, pretty solid.
Only disadvantages is sometimes it takes a couple times pressing to turn it off, and there's a 3 second delay between receiving input and display it on resolution change.
>>55739269
>1440p
For $500 you should be looking for 4k.
wtf I love AMD now
So sorry Amada! I betrayed you! I have an i5 and a GTX 960, how can you forgive me!
