anyone here been having trouble with youtube?
im with bright house networks(central florida, getting 25mbps down 0.6 up), and youtube videos have been buffering like its going out of style. other video streaming sites seem to be fine, but 1080 youtube videos are stuttering slideshows. BHN support is insisting that its youtubes(google) servers and not BHN networks or throttling. I cant dismiss this out of hand cause ive been sore with youtube ever since youtube DASH (fuck you youtube, if i want to load the whole video at my moms house with less than a meg down then thats my prerogative!)
just trying to see if maybe youtube maybe changed its streaming protocols and is unaware of its shitty service or if BHN is a lying shit. does youtube have a speedtest i can use to directly compare to other speedtests? all i can find with a search is the useless quality report.

I'm not trying to decrease data usage, I'm trying to increase my bandwidth from a paltry 16KB/s to something less dial-up-like. Turns out if the carrier throttles data via a file on the phone, a root can delete it so fingers crossed.

mpc is really good, I have been using that one for years. The default windows media player is ok on windows 7, it's a lot better on windows 10 now though.

Okay so, I have tried everything I can possibly find to delete this folder and it still wont let me delete it because apparently I do not have permission to even though ive given myself full permission and ownership and even tried the built in administrator account. I've:
>Admin CMD delete and replace with blank folder
>Activate admin account
>Take Ownership
>Safemode
>Changed Permissions/Ownership
>Some other random things
Could someone help me out with some suggestions of how to get rid of this please, id rather not have to reload my hard drive because some virus filled folder wont budge.

/g/, I need some help.
I found my laptop HDD from High School. The laptop is busted, but I removed the HDD from it. I'm sure it has dank 2006 memes on there and I need a way to get those memes off of it. However, I can't seem to find myself an adapter that will let me pull from the HDD using a USB for my current computer. The HDD is a 9.5mm IDE Hitachi. The best I've found is ones that replace my CD drive, but I don't want to do that. Can anyone here help me?

linux with wine seems like the way to go guys. i only use abelton, photoshop, and maya for my shit, and while windows has been good there is just too much shit i can't tolerate
