Dear /dpt/,

I have this IntPtr in C# which is a pointer to a buffer
And now I want to read the data there as a struct without copying or using Marshal

I currently do this using MY_STRUCT* my_struct = (MY_STRUCT*)ptr_buffer;
However, this gives me an array when I only really want a single struct for simplicity

Is there any way I can do this in C#?

I used to hit my pc so hard, the hard drive would shut down then power on again. Still works. Fucking WD.

The quickest way to get in spacemacs is just using it, spacemacs is made with vim users in mind and all your vim knowledge should be transferred out of the box. Then search how to install the different "layers" with the .spacemacs file to get the functionality that you want.
I personally came to spacemacs from emacs and I love it.

Spacemacs is just too bloated in my opinion. On slow machines it can take a while to load everything, because it tries to provide as many useful plugins as possible. It's almost as bad as an IDE.
Just the basic emacs with evil-mode is enough to get started. And if you feel like you need another plugin for example to use git inside emacs, then go ahead and install it yourself.
