if you were to create an OS/distro bracket who would be the final four and who would win the championship game?
bracket for what? what are they being judged on? operating systems don't exist in a vacuum. they have a purpose and some have different purposes than others. is this going to devolve into a troll and/or shitposting thread or do you really want actual discussion on the merits of different choices made in OS design?
>>55885909
Win 10, 8, and 7 and Mac OS in final bracket. Win 10 would win.
>>55886355
well if there was a competition i would assume all the pros and cons would be weighed logically. but this is 4chan, so yeah, shitposting all the way.
Would you?

Also Kaspersky Lab the company that sells anti viruses notes that linux machines dont have such a solution most of the time so they are somehow more vulnerable.

/g/, what is a good either aux or Bluetooth portable speaker which is loud and semi durable with non shit tier sound quality under 100$
>>55885206
Not under 100 but slightly above is the Boom 2 by Logitech, it's waterproof and durable as hell, also the sound is nice and you can get an app to show battery life, EQ, and you can pair multiple devices so everyone can take a turn playing stuff. There's also a mode called "block party mode" that I find cool. It allows anyone to connect until the speaker is turned off which is great for one time connecting at parties. I'd highly recommend it.

>>55885172
/g/ is full of hypocrite retards who laugh at people who buy monster cables and then go and spend thousands of dollars on tube-amps and DAC's and listen to 24bit vinyl rips.
External DAC's is 100% snakeoil as your soundcard/mobo's DAC/ADC are just as good (dedicated headphone amp can be beneficial though), tube amps are retarded and valve amps are even better for listening to music, anything above 16b/44.1kHz is snakeoil for listening to music. Generally anything "high-end hi-fi" is snakeoil, apart from speakers (though most "hi-fi" speakers are ridiculously overpriced for how they sound like).

you're just as retarded for continuing to post these fucking threads, and you guys thought desktop threads were bad

If not for Apple, that would actually be amazing. Imagine somehow getting into something like this, sitting in a stabilised chair, and just sleeping your whole commute. Fully automated, no distractions, simple point-to-point travel.

Enjoy your no updates or no LTE
getting my priv tomorrow what should i expect
This fucking case is making me buy a gold Note instead of silver like I originally wanted. It just looks too fucking good.
I need an audio interface to record and playback guitar playing
I also have a pair of studio monitors, and I need a headphone in and a microphone output
The Focusrite Scarlett Solo seems to be perfect, has everything I need, fits my budget, everyone recommends it
but also I always see people recommending the more expensive 2i2
Why? Is it because the more inputs/outputs? What if I don't need more? Then is the solo the most obvious choice?
>>55884866
i have the 2i2, it's whatever, i only have one mic so i probably could have made do with the solo.
imo just get the solo for now and if you're planning to do something more complicated, you probably are going to want to add several more mics which will warrant a much bigger interface
>>55884866
>headphone in and a microphone output
fuck, how did I fuck this up
microphone in and headphones out, obviously, I have some alcohol in my body, sorry for that
>>55884866
Its the more inputs/outputs. They're really useful down the line, but another great feature for me is the second input allows me to record in stereo from my deck, but I eventually went with another solution because of clipping on the line level output from the deck.
