Can't read it atm since I'm at work, what does it say?
Wow, such a polished experience.
After retrying it started the upgrade, and the progress indicator is overplayed with the image caption.
And after the installation it couldn't determine my timezone. I'm pretty sure Windows XP did that just fine.
It's abysmal how much better Fedora with Gnome is than this.

What resolution do you use?
1080p? 1440p? 2160p? Lower? Higher?
Just bought a 25" 1440p monitor to upgrade form my old 21" 1080p, and I'm excited to see the difference in games.
1440p is a meme
1800p
Should've just bought 2160p nig nog.

50c under medium load is shit for an air cooler, much less your $300+ watercooler. Even with those CPUs.
Also why did you drop so much cash on your motherboard and CPUs and cooling system and then finish it out with such shit specs. Shitty GPU (bad even if you aren't gaming), a depressing 16GB of RAM, and tiny 250GB SSD. I just don't understand what would make someone this dumb.
Need an ultrabook for college. I returned an xps 13 because it had some gnarly coil whine. About to pull the trigger on the razer blade stealth, even though it's kinda gaymer. Advice?
Get a ThinkPad.

So thinkpads are great true, but the market has been cannibalized and prices have increased.
Are there any other cheap older laptops, say in the $100 and under range, that have reasonable build quality and good Linux support?
just buy a chromebook
>>55875611
This. I want to fall for the think pad meme but they just won't get drop in price. I should be able to get a T420 for $100

Let's talk quiet keyboards.
I work in an office that is extremely quiet, so any of the mechanical shit is out the window. I'm not trying to be the office neckbeard. I spend 7-8 hours a day typing and would like something ergonomic and comfortable. I've used Logitech Wave keyboards, but they don't hold up to use. I don't want anything that has "gamer keys" or any autistic shit like that on it. No fancy colors on the WASD keys, etc. Something professional, with a numeric keypad and all the function keys.
What do you use? I don't want to buy another wave, but maybe that's the best thing out there for my needs. Not sure where to start my search, so I came here.

Literally knows fucking nothing about keyboards.

Enlighten me
>>55875607
It's only the blues that click(pic related), because they have a hop section that bounces the contact over. The rest are don't and have different spring strengths.
A regular keyboard has more noise because the keys are loose fitting where as mechs slip on rather than clip. So when they spring back the shake causing noise.
Mechs are all fine fitment. Try your local PC shop, they usually have a mech board on display.

Is there anything Linux can do that Windows simply cannot?
Not completely trash a hard disk with a shitty, proprietary file system?
Not spy on you.
