Why don't Linux distributions unite efforts to provide better quality products? I propose only 4 distributions that will cover literally all possible uses and tastes:
Ubuntu + all cheap rip-offs
Fedora+OpenSuse+Mandriva
Arch+Gentoo+Slackware
Slitaz
Also, kill Gnome/QTK already and replace it with KDE/Qt.

In any case the 280x is going to be a lot better than the 950,but the rx 470 is going to release in 2 days and it should be better than a 380x at the same or lower price so wating and saving your money for that is something you should consider.
