How the fuck do I connect surround sound speakers? I know have little shitty speakers, and know almost nothing about audio/wires ect..
I have little shitty speakers*
>>56363384
oh fuck anon what are you doing
I dunno OP
I currently use ReiserFS and it's good. What does /g/ use and suggest?
>inb4 ext4 is purrfect
No. Not even ext4 developers agree with you.
>>56363336
i'm sticking with ext4 for now because it just werks but i'll probably switch to btrfs at some point
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Btrfs
>>56363479
How is that? I heard some good stuff.
i use ext2 because my computer is shit and i don't want to deal with the overhead of journaling. i have xfs on some other system and it's pretty nice if you have scsi drives. i don't think it really matters.
I installed w10 last month in a notebook, the problem start since the upgrade put my pc from x32 to x64, many old programs I had stopped working and don't even want to run even on compatibility mode of xp
The program's worked perfectly fine in my old windows vista, so I assume it's because now it's x64 and not x32 like it was when was vista
There is a way I can make those program who worked on x32 and vista work in w10 x64 or I need to downgrade to vista again
>>56363323
>the upgrade put my pc from x32 to x64
This is a blatant lie, you're retarded, you downloaded the wrong iso/setup files.
Also, you CANT upgrade vista to 10, its literally impossible, you would have needed to upgrade to 7 first then to 10 to be able to keep user settings and software, you probably just installed a fresh copy without deleting the user files.
Please stop posting.
>>56363412
yes was a fresh start, but since my pc came back from the support, it was windows 8 and then it went to w10 from the free update, the old stuff i had was backed up before going w8 and from the upgrade i didnt lost anything but the programs stoped working
windows 7 makes my core2 system slower than linux on a pentium m half its single-core speed
it's fucking shit. just keep it disconnected from the internet.
Upgrading an old late 08 MBP to resell. Would I get more money from a 750GB HDD or 250GB SSD?
>>56363165
>upgrading an 8 year old laptop to to sell it
pls don't respond to this bad troll thread
I would much rather have the ssd
>>56363165
Depends who you're selling it to.
Shitmunchers will prefer 750GB (aka "over 200,000 songs!").
I've just seen on play store (here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.cordova.myappaef4f8) an app designed for rich people...
Well I'm rich enough to afford it but I was wondering... is it just to show off?
Advertising is against the rules senpai.

So i was playing gta v and suddenly my PC restarted withe message "asus anti surge was trigered" is my PSU insufficent or something? I have looked on every psu calculator and it gives me atleast 50-70W head room
PSU:Thermaltake TR2 S 600W
GPU:XFX Radeon R9 390
CPU:Intel i7 6700K
2 sticks of DDR4 8GB ram
that is the gaming timer
you shouldn't play in excess of one hour without taking a 15 minute break anon
>>56363099
>asus anti surge was trigered
Most likely false positive. If it was real surge, your PSU would be fried or the PC lost power instantly -> no chance for BIOS to register that anything is wrong and thus giving you such cool message.

Disable that thing in your BIOS (F2 / del right after start).

Run furmark, then push button in it called CPU burner, push your system to 100% use. If it holds, nothing is wrong.

In a few days the multi-board server will go back up.
4craft is a Minecraft server ran by a bunch of anons from the internet. It traditionally has ran for 2 weeks at a time, each iteration being a few months after the last.

No offense, but aren't you bored with Minecraft or have you just discovered it? It's always the same shit, even with mods. And once you've built a really big town, you ponder on how much hours you wasted on this.
>>56362995
Owned it since alpha, honestly I just jump on now and gain to see what has changed. Shilling this because it might be entertaining.
Returning my Asus Zenbook UX305CA. A good laptop, but ruined due to drivers, overheating and slow downs.
Is the 12" Macbook worth it? I really enjoy not having a fan and the nice built quality of the UX305. I only can assume that the 12" Macbook's built quality is better and won't have the issues I'm facing.
Also should I be concerned about kabylake?
I already own an elitebook,so don't need to recommend that.
I've had a macbook all this year, running Win10 boot camp and almost never using MacOS. Honestly., the battery life is hours and hours and for web surfing and light usage, its unbeatable and my other notebooks don't get used as much. The screen is truly a joy. I keep MacOS because thats the only OS that gets driver updates and so on.

unless RMS grows his own food his whole life's work is a sham
You can reverse engineer sauce rather easily if you're a crafty mom. Similar to proprietary computer programs, it's never as good as the real thing.

Just need it for coding and some post processing of photos.
In saying this, which laptop can I find cheap that has a decent panel and CPU with dual RAM capabilities? -

Some used business class notebooks from HP, Dell, Fujitsu etc.
