I installed w10 last month in a notebook, the problem start since the upgrade put my pc from x32 to x64, many old programs I had stopped working and don't even want to run even on compatibility mode of xp
The program's worked perfectly fine in my old windows vista, so I assume it's because now it's x64 and not x32 like it was when was vista
There is a way I can make those program who worked on x32 and vista work in w10 x64 or I need to downgrade to vista again

>the upgrade put my pc from x32 to x64
This is a blatant lie, you're retarded, you downloaded the wrong iso/setup files.
Also, you CANT upgrade vista to 10, its literally impossible, you would have needed to upgrade to 7 first then to 10 to be able to keep user settings and software, you probably just installed a fresh copy without deleting the user files.
Please stop posting.

yes was a fresh start, but since my pc came back from the support, it was windows 8 and then it went to w10 from the free update, the old stuff i had was backed up before going w8 and from the upgrade i didnt lost anything but the programs stoped working
windows 7 makes my core2 system slower than linux on a pentium m half its single-core speed
it's fucking shit. just keep it disconnected from the internet.

If you had windows 8 and you received the free upgrade advise a month ago, it would have downloaded the correct version, it never, ever change architecture at all.
You really fucked it up installing a different architecture, and that was your fault, not windows. You should read more carefully next time instead of pressing "next" to all questions like a monkey.

You need to reinstall everything.
You cannot rollback to Vista/8 because you didn't "upgrade" it properly.
This is probably what you did.

so its better go for the vista or instal w10 but this time x32 ?
