I've been using Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 for a year now and it's time to change. I think I've broken the micro usb port since its not charging at all and I think they wont repair it since the phone has fallen many times.
So me and my gf (who is switching from iPhone 5) are looking for new phones for less than 300 or something close to that.
What are we looking for in phones:
- 5 inch or bigger screen with full hd and nice pixel per inch density,
- good cameras (front and back),
- good battery life,
There are also things that would be nice but optional:
- type C usb,
- jack output on the bottom of the phone,
- fingerprint scanner,
- custom rom support/ recovery out of the box,

Give up.

Buy a generic Linux-compatible sound card off of Newegg.

Its maintainers can't maintain a website.
It's a useless distro based on another useless distro.

It's better than Arch, I don't really see anything wrong with it anon, it's pretty good.

I still like xubuntu more and I use it as my main OS with win 7 on a VM.
Pls don't kill me.
>>
- Steals packages from arch and passes them off as their own.

- Steals album artwork from edgy teenager bands to use as a logo because they cant even do what /g/ can and make orinal logo.

- Users in the forum appear to be seriously mentally retarded

OMG No lie I was wishing for a qt type light ide for linux. Jetbrains ide's don't scale on linux. Eclipse is heavy, NetBeans is just lacking, Geany isn't the worst, Sublime Text is proprietary, Atom is for web development.

Simply put...
THANK FUCKING GNU!
>>
just switched from qtcreator. featureset is actually scarily similar to kdevelop, qtcreator only really is for c/c++, and kdevelop does it all.

3gb version is actually cut down from the 6gb and thus you aren't going to get the performance you were expecting.
