Alright /b/,

I need your help. I've never owned a mac before but now my GF bought one for whatever reason to replace her old PC.

I was like "meh" but finally it's her business with her money earned through her work so I don't have much to say about it.

The thing is, I've always been her personnal tech support, and I've always done it happily cause pussy.

But now I'm facing a problem:

How the fuck do I install "pirated" stuff on her MacBook. She needs Word & Powerpoint for her uni and I have ZERO idea how these kinds of things work on Mac.

On a PC I just get a good torrent, KMS Pico and boom shit is installed and authenticated in 10 minutes. Is there a way I could do the same thing on a mac ? I've quickly snooped around on the web but most of "mac related" content is basic tier "HOW TO BOOT UP YOUR MACBOOK PRO AND PLUG IN THE CHARGER HURRDURRR".

Any ideas ? Shall I ask on another board ?

Isn't there mac versions of the software you want?
So just fucking torrent them
Simple as fuck
And doesn't apple has its own tools for opening shit made by MS Office like pages and keynote?
>>
>>56661492
You do not need microshaft software on that nice and innovative Mac! It just works!

On a more serious note: All office software has an OS X version. Get that.

>You are give 12 identical looking balls. One of them is fake (could be heavier or lighter) than the rest of the 11 (all the others weight exactly the same). You a provided with a simple mechanical balance. Find the fake ball(and whether it's heavier or lighter) in minimum weighings.

The solution to the above is essentially a binary search problem but then it should require 4 steps in the worst case.

What is the extra information we have that allows us to determine the fake ball in 3 steps?

You don't need extra information, just start by grouping the balls into three lots of four, then weigh any two. If they weigh the same, the ball is in the unweighed lot of four. Proceed as normal.

Easy.
>>
>>56661531
You can't figure out which ball is in three steps in the worst case scenario with your method.

Where do you go to read about actual full scale enterprise hacks? Kali is just tools. Hackers build up tools and server infrastructure then do research on targets before they target everything they can while hoping for a way in.

So I'm pretty sure CleverBot is fake.

The company behind it is no name and yet it seems to have better comprehension than anything Google has talked about.

I'll spell out sentences by the letter and CB will guess what I'm going to say. If you get into a semi conversation CB will take longer to answer. In the past I've had CB make typos and fix them. I typically see CB make typos in general.

If you for example turn the conversation to where you're threatening / insulting the CB, the reaction is too human.

Not really sure what to make out of it but there it is.

Cleverbot is created by Rollo Carpenter, a no name guy who apparently created AI that passed the turing test?

how broken can a laptop be to claim warranty on it? tell me your success stories. currently looking to claim warranty on my asus zenbook from bing lee

Laptop warranties are a meme. They never replace or fix anything, they just ghetto fix it to work then send it back.

If it's fucked up only on the inside, the warranty will cover it.

Which linux distribution supports virtualization under a windows host best?

I've made quite good experiences with ubuntu, but I'd like to move to something more lightweight.

Seriously, this is the best solution OP.
But I also virtualized Fedora and Debian under Windows during my classes, and it was pretty smooth, if you computer is powerful enough.
>>
All of them? Install Ubuntu with netinstall if you want something more light.
>>
>>56661036
>Seriously, this is the best solution OP.
Its all the same shit. Its just different packages (including DEs) included in the install.

Just pick one and install whatever the fuck you want to use to virtualize with.
You will probably want a minimalist installation.

If you're using chromium, you need to add this command line argument right away. It cut my memory use by nearly 6GiB and significantly lowered my idle cpu usage.

Xiaomi ROM's have silent backdoors, and phone home.

I was pretty keen on getting the Redmi Note 4, but considering the news, and that Helio chips are boot locked. I'm just gonna go for the V20.
