What exactly do hackers and crackers do? I know that they find flaws in a software's code,but I still don't get what they do afterwards . How do they get into accounts and shit?

If Android is based on Linux, how difficult would it be to port a DE like MATE, E17 or LXQT to android?

Why hasn't it been done yet?

I want to recycle my old phone and use it as a low powered PC of some sort.

I have 0.5 in Coinbase but I don't know if I'll ever do anything with it. Just bought it for fun to see what happens. I guess it's "worth" slightly more than I paid for it but not a lot. Maybe it'll explode one day, there's certainly enough room for growth.

I think it'll just be a curiosity.

I have a great hatred for this device. Here are some reasons:

- It can not "forget" a device. So if an offline device had a static IP, there is nothing you can do to change it (as you can only edit online devices)

-When selecting "block all internet access" it only works for IPv4 sites, not IPv6 ones, like facebook.

- When I enable bridge mode, I can no longer ping the device nor am I assigned IPv4 DNS servers. A full factory reset fixes it for a while, but must be done via phone.

-it costs $12.00 a month

What modems/routers do you guys recommend?

Also, if possible, when blocking internet access to various devices I would like it not to tell my kids they are blocked, but just that the internet is not working.

I also want something with more features, such as mac cloning.

WHY THE HELL FIREFOX IS EATING MY RAM?

I have 8GB RAM (DDR3), Windows 10 and a FX 6300 processor.

But Firefux is slow. I tasted with Antipsyware, ativirus and nothing.
I have more extensions and open tabs in Chrome than in Firefox. But Chrome is ok. And Firefox isn't.

I used Firemin and dedicated one core of the processor just for the Firefox.
Improved but still bad. Droped 900MB to 100MB. BUT STILL SLOW.

And yes, my Firefox is up to date.

WHY? I prefer use Firefox, but I have to use Chrome insted.

I have just started a programming class in college and I have an assignment due tomorrw. It is seriously kicking my ass. Here are the steps we have to do (they aren't that hard, I'm just new):
Present a menu with four options
1) Enter scores
2)Display scores
3) Calculate Statistics
4)Exit
I need this to be a functional application. In the statistics I need largest and smallest numbers and the average of all of them.
