So I'm looking into InfoSec and got accepted into a college in the same state. Tuition looks expensive, but I think the education would be worth it. Any advice or resources that you guys know? Pic related

You've been waiting for the moment since the first time you downloaded mpv, haven't you?
Ok here is the story. There was an inactive twitter posting defamatory things about me that were false and fraudulent. I went to goldengroup dot org a social media ethical hacking company that claims they are legal and "whitehackers" and that their company does not break their countries or US law. I paid them $226 exact for the password to this account. It turns up they ended up a scam (I know big surprise I am dumb) And they are trying to ignore me hoping this fraud goes away. I called western union to place a fraud complaint and told them what happened and they made a case number for it to give to local law enforcement to begin the fraud investigation.
My question is, since no account was actually hacked by me or them, and no one actually got a password or even hacked into the account. Was any crime committed yet by me?
Was any crime committed by them?
By taking this case number to the police and explaining I thought this was legal because of the companies legal and disclaimer page and explaining that no account has been hacked. What would happen to me?
What would happen to golden group?
Need help, btw this was just a inactive normal twitter.
This is a continuation btw the last one had some great feedback I appreciate it a lot. But I wanted to try again but this time giving a better full story explanation.
There's no such thing as legal hacking, you're shit out of luck
I mean tho like nothing was hacked, It was just a take your money and bail kind of thing. Shouldn't the main punishment fall on the fraud company who know what they are doing? For a lot of people even me cyber law is pretty vague and under a lot of development. After researching it more, its mostly for the affects of what you do after hacking, and mostly to a business or fedral/state official or politician. But just johnny asking company who identifies as legal to hack sally when the company never even did anything after being paid. What is that crime even listed as? Is there a specific clause for that?
would you?

Why are Intel so bad at making GPUs?
>>56679830
Because they don't make GPUs.
>>56679830
not like it matters because both AMD's APU and intel iGPUs are shit
>>56679874
An integrated GPU is still a GPU, you tech-illiterate filth.

http://www.macrumors.com/2016/09/19/iphone-7-best-lcd-display-ever-displaymate/
>DisplayMate said the iPhone 7 has "the most color accurate display" that it has ever measured, adding that the smartphone's display is "very likely considerably better than any mobile display, monitor, TV, or UHD TV" that consumers have.
>DisplayMate Technologies has declared iPhone 7 has the "best LCD display" it has ever tested
>iPhone 7 achieved the highest color accuracy, peak brightness, and contrast rating in bright light of any smartphone display, the highest contrast ratio of any IPS LCD display, and the lowest screen reflectance of any smartphone display
>DisplayMate said iPhone 7 has 4.4% screen reflectance, which is a record low among smartphones it has ever tested.
I ask again, is there any logical reason why Apple mentions some of the best things about new devices? That's a big fucking bragging point right there.
bump, I have a few ideas about some long-time Jobs philosophy but I'm not sure its the reason. Want to see what others think, so people can spread it by word of mouth maybe?
Thep probably didn't notice it.

Apple products have had the best displays in the market for a long time now. I think everyone knows that at this point
Why do AMD cards run hotter and louder than Nvidia?
Even great AIBs like Sapphire run at about 10-12 DBAs higher and roughly 10-15 degrees hotter than MSI or EVGA's 1060 and they're cheaper or only $10 more.
What the h*ck /g/?

Hasn't this been well known since many time?
What, you thought they'd modify them for outside of China?
>>56679584
And your point is?
Only reason these backdoors are found is because it is a chink phone. In china they forbid using western phones for they found backdoors in them. Why most people in /g/ use windows 10 knowing it has backdoors.

I don't hate it because it gives me a well paying job, and because at least they had the decency to give it a vim mode. Otherwise I'd rather use absolutely anything else. It does seem to be the best windows ide, but that's like being the tallest midget
