How can I be totally safe when torrenting for free? I don't want my ISP contacting me and I don't want to leak my IP address to the public

Doesn't disabling the camera in device manager do the same thing?
>>
>>56688323
yep, but if somehow there's some low level exploit to turn it on and even worst to shut down the camera light you can still be fucked stealthy

this is of course not that probable, but still advisable

I've seen people use it. Looks cool. I'm curious though if its safe
>>
Apple Pay is nice but it's mostly grocery stores that accept it, every other store wants their own stupid mobile payment app though.

It's pretty safe since your card number isn't used so even if someone were to hack the store they get a useless number.
>>
>>56687467
It would be good if I could find any place to use it and if it accepted store cards. When contactless payment systems like Google Wallet or Apple Pay will let me:
>shop at the grocery store
>use discount/member cards for said grocery stores
>allow me to use my credit card to pay my bills with touch-id
>place the app in a regular workflow with other apps (e.g., get an email notification about upcoming bill, press "pay now" link, hold thumb over reader for apple pay/google-wallet, bill paid)
then it'll really be worth using. As it is, it doesn't cover nearly enough companies and isn't that useful. I don't give a damn whether it takes me five seconds less to pay some barista an overpriced coffee shop because of contactless payment. I want to be able to go pick up groceries and pay my bills securely with a button press and not have to worry about my wallet getting stolen and credit cards misused because it's sitting at home.

What kind of qualifications do you think are needed to get your first entry-level job in programming/software development?

I have a 2-year degree (great GPA and all that) in Software Development, and I have plans for the near future of getting a normal job and paying my way through an affordable online bachelor's program at WGU. On the side, I will also be building up a GitHub portfolio and starting a programming blog.

I was also wondering if you guys thought this would be enough to land my first job in a couple years if everything goes according to plan? Assume I have no formal work experience in the field and no connections.

Looking forward to your insights and discussion.

Is there some really lightweight Linux distro?
I mean, REALLY lightweight. Capable to work with 128 MB of RAM and still with modern software?
32 MB RAM?
4 MB RAM?
1 MB RAM?

>>
>>56686807
Define "modern software". Some distros can run under 128 MB of RAM, I doubt any could run under 32 MB and run "modern software"

I mean the software maintained in the 2016 year after the birth of Christ our Savior.
Some Office Suite and browser to read 4chan would be great.
