Literally all I had to do was fix the font rendering which took five minutes. Why is Fedora the best at installing drivers out of any distro? I thought which distro and DE you choose didn't really matter because it's all Ganoo under the hood.
G-Guess /g/ was wrong.

Noobuntu is so bloated
Current logi-shit 5.1 powered speaker set is shitting themselves.
My budget is ~$300-400.
Do I,
A: Buy another shitty powered "computer speaker" set from some company like logitech
or
B: Buy a proper receiver and several bookshelf speakers + a sub
I realize I can spend that much on a receiver alone or a single speaker alone, is it even worth it to buy a receiver / cheap passive speakers with such a low budget?
Any recommendations for low budget speakers / receivers?
Definitely go for another set of shitty speakers

Sarcasm, trolling, or serious?
Logitech Z313 is a great option for the price. Give them a listen at Best Buy or the like.

Bloatware

That phone looks like bloat ware incarnate.
That being said, those squares vaguely remind me of what happens if you press "Show layout boundaries" in the developer options.

if everything in windows (like the start button) was written as a service nothing would require a system restart. why doesnt this happen? picture unrelated
Because Microsoft doesn't touch codebase if it doesn't directly increase their revenue. They said so themselves.
>>56980749
making a better OS will increase their revenue
>>56980816
at a certain cost. Fixing windows to make it a good OS would require to throw all the Win32 subsystem to the trash because there's too many shit on there product of years of design mistakes. NT kernel is good enough if you remove the hacks that Win32 needed.
>gooogle have always been associated with innovation (smart cars, smart glasses robots ect..)
>heard they are releasing a smart phone
>get fucking hyped think its going to look like pic related
>its a 2010 chinkphone with iPhone tier price

They're trying to be apple.
>>56980689
And they'll win especially with all the aplel users jumping ship. They are currently sold out.

Not that I'd ever recommend this turd over an Axon 7 but google has now successfully made an overpriced phone and have sold it with a fucking logo alone.
Apple is fucking finished.

>linux users will defend google for taking advantage of free software
>to then worsen it
>to then segregate it from its own user base

>to then progressively bloat the final product and make it so intertwined that stripping away useless components messes it all up, turning it into a mikado

Let's have a hate thread for Windows 10, but not for /g/ reasons. I don't care if it's proprietary or spies on me.
The real reasons to hate Windows 10 is because it is a buggy piece of shit. Right now, my search bar is broken. It can't find anything properly. Cortana never worked for me, so I just disabled her. Windows 10 likes to not recognize my Mic from time to time, and it's less than 4 years old. I never had these problems on 7 or 8.1.
Edge is a fucking embarrassment. It doesn't even work when it opens. Use Chrome like I do.
I'm switching to macOS next year because I am becoming a mobile dev anyway and Windows is useless for mobile development. All Android tools are available on Linux and iOS tools are macOS exclusive.

A freetard wouldn't know this about Win10.

>somehow doesn't apply to gnu/linux
Free as in free time; the freedom less mentioned by free software evangelists.
