I bought what I believed was a copy of the K&R 2nd ED off of abebooks a week ago and it arrived today. It has this weird green cover, says it's only for sale in south east asia (I'm in the US) and the back says that it is the ANSWER BOOK not the book i was expecting.

It is still in the shrink wrap so i'm afraid to open it and check because the seller may not take it back. I'm trying to contact them now but haven't heard anything ATOW.

Has anyone seen this before? Have I been bamboozled?

I hate SQL, and I always end up writing selects and inserts so as to not do anything substantial within SQL because SQL is so fucking obtuse, holy shit.

I can't imagine actually working as a DBA, that'd be kill yourself tier.
I even remember reading one thread where some /g/ent became a DBA and tried to hang himself.

My experience will aliexpress:

>re order
>everythings fine
>look in my orders and it shows I have ordered 2 phones
>cancel the one that was ordered first
>IT CANCELS BOTH OF THEM
>get on live support and they say they cant uncancel it
>money is at least back in my checking account within hours
>try ordering again once I have money back
>declined
>I call my bank
>flagged my card for fraud
>sort all of that out
>order again
>it goes through this time
>waiting to get shipping information
>my order is closed, aliexpress needs me to send in drivers license and a picture of my bank statement showing my orders with them

This is not worth the trouble, I'm just gonna blow a grand on the new iPhone and their shitty wireless headphones.

I don't know if any of you are into retro technology, but I came across a trove of it. While I was out at our rural home I went into the abandoned workshop we haven't gone into forever. I couldn't believe the stuff I found, so much interesting old tech. First was the little thing you see here, a general electric radio. Lastly was this, and I was honestly surprised by how good its condition was. Some sort of radio by a company called Windsor. I did some cleaning of the knobs and the thing works like it was brand new.

I would like a bluetooth module with a few extra usb connections that fits in my dvd docking bay, made a mock up for what I'm looking for in pic related.

The problem is when I search amazon and ebay I get nothing. I know someone here knows where it can be found.

Just get a normal USB bluetooth adapter and a wire that takes a mobo USB header and gives you a USB port on a wire. The header to USB port wire can often be extracted from a USB drive bay filler thing.

It doesn't really matter where inside your desktop the Bluetooth module is, but you can tape it into the bay filler if you like.

Or you can just go super simple and plug a USB Bluetooth module into a USB port on the back of the PC. Same effect, no effort.

Using VLC to convert to webm format.

short video 8 sec long in mp4 becomes a shirt video in webm.

nice but !

the timer on the webm video shows 40 hours !
and no way to upload delicious OC to 4Chan :(
