Do you think the NSA records image hashes to keep track of people and the origin of different images?

What would be the best way of running some kind of script to change those hashes every 24 hours?

>>
If you change the hashes, but the images are more or less identical (just a few bytes diff), then they will harvest multiple copies of all your images.
>>
NSA probably uses perceptual hashing. In order to change the hash you would need to fuck up the image to such extent it no longer resembles the original.

So I'm thinking about installing Linux now that I have enough space on my SSD

Out of the loop, how is Neon versus GNOME? I used to use KDE but it was like 10 years ago

>>
KDE Neon isn't a DE. It's a KDE-based distro. It's pretty much just Kubuntu but under the KDE community's umbrella.

The actual DE that KDE Neon uses is KDE Plasma. It's alright. I definitely prefer it to Gnome but I'd personally rather use something like XFCE.
>>
What's the difference structurally between neon and kubuntu?
>>
>>57160627
Neon has a quicker release schedule and comes with a bunch of KDE apps. Kubuntu follows the LTS shit, i think.

Overall, KDE plasma looks and feels awesome. It would be my favorite DE if not for the bugs. They say Neon is more stable (since it gets neweer shit faster).

Supporting Free Software is an integral part of building a good future for us and generations to come. Why? The reason is simple. Proprietary ideologies are the enemies of human progress. If we, as a species, cannot contribute to the world, then we will never advance. Transparency is paramount. How can we ensure that the biological augmentations we receive in the future function as they are supposed to without reviewing and auditing the code?

Let's say you needed a pacemaker to live. It is sold by a company that has made the source code proprietary and closed. The unit you have is known to have a bug that causes it to give out at random intervals, but this was discovered after your doctor prescribed you this unit. There are no other units available. The company responsible for the production of your unit has simply stated: "We're working on it."

How is this in any way acceptable? Your life is in constant mortal danger because of the company's unwillingness to patch the bug. This would never happen if the code and hardware were released under the GPL.

Build a better future. There is no reason to support the opponents of Freedom.

I'm not certain this is the correct place to post to, /v/ might be better suited.

Does anyone know how far computer building items are expected to come down on price over BlackFriday/CyberMonday?

I'm looking at grabbing:
i5 6600k
gtx1070
~400GB SSD
144hz 1080p monitor.
I already have my power supply, motherboard, and case.

If the prices for these items are only expected to come down about 10% each, then I'm not inclined to wait five weeks for sales. If we're talking more than 20% off, then that's a different story.

If there's somewhere else I should be looking or asking, then please direct me that way.

Is there any other laptop than this pic related that is in the range or anywhere near the $200 price range?

I really like the HP Stream 11 and what I fucking hate is that it is only fucking available in 2 colors, a pink and a light blue.
Reviews are really good on this notebook/netbook.

>>
>>57161502
I agree. I bought one of these for $120 and even for that price it's not worth it. Although I guess it depends what you want to use it for. I would still rather pay $400 for a proper laptop though.

openmalbox.org also if they are taking new accounts anymore.

Your own domain pointed at zoho is a pretty good option as well.
