looks like the short controller cable is not going to be a problem, looks super simple to replace.

how about the actual NES system? do you think it's running an emulator, or did they adapt the old hardware into one chip to make things cycle-accurate?

i wonder how long it will take for someone to hack into the thing and make storing new roms possible...

IDK if this seems like a no-brainer "obviously .png faggot" and the same link to that one KOTH clip but I've honestly been eyeing .jpg.
First of all, I collect a lot of stuff I find on the web(yes, porn) and the folder system most people are used to isn't working for me that much. Then I found out that(on my OS at least, win10) .jpgs can have tags associated with them, so I can easier sort them without having a labyrinth of folders to go through.
But again, this is only for .jpgs and some other files, .pngs and .gifs can't have these. I'm not clear on the exact reason, from what I can tell .jpg allows extra data to be attached to it(ex. tags, rating, comments) while .pngs do not.
Second of all, I realise that it can't be a straight upgrade. There are always the jokes about .jpg having visible pixels, lower res, etc etc. But how often is this a problem? If I, say, upload a pretty hi-res .jpg from my computer to 4chan, does it lose resolution then? What if I take a hi-res .jpg and put it on my google drive? Are there any ways to fully stop .jpgs from losing resolution, or do I have to use .png? If then, does simply changing the filetype of a .jpg lower the resolution?

Hello all. Lets discuss network equipment, and wireless adapters. I need to buy a wireless adapter for my desktop as I cannot use a wired connection. What are recommended models? PCIe is always better than USB right? Also is the multiple antennas a meme or actually useful?

I have a very serious problem /g/

A while ago I got into a heated argument with a guy who was trying to get with my gf. In the heat of the moment I threatened him with physical violence. Now he's threatening me that he is calling the cops. The only proof he has is the facebook message I sent him. Can I somehow delete my message so it won't show up in his chatlogs? Because if not, I'm in deep shit.

Hoping someone here who's familiar with AV can answer a question for me.

The setup, I have an Amazon Dot going from 3.5mm to RCA. That RCA table has a RCA splitter attached to both L and R channels, giving me 2 R and 2 L channels. I send one set to my receiver on line 1, so it's only the Dot output on that line. The other set of LR goes into mixer with my cable boxes input where I mix it together, the output from the mixer goes into my receiver on a different line.

Now, what's happening that I don't understand. If I adjust the gain on either the dot or tv past 50% on the mixer, I will hear popping and distortion on the line1 receiver, that's just the dot, and never comes through the mixer??? I feel like there is something fundamental I don't understand, because this seems impossible. What's happening here?

Should I get a chromebook pixel 2 LS, or the older gen surface book i7?

I am a university student, and the laptop will be my main device.

On one hand, I really like the industrial design of the pixel, and it would give me double the ram (16GB), and the price would be lower seeing as I would be buying it off ebay probably. On the other hand, it would, even though it's upgradable through an SD card, have way less storage space and no dgpu.

Does anyone have a preference for either over the other? I would be running linux on either machine.
