they only look things up when they have a problem
>>57514073
>binging "windows 10 is working properly"

Hello 4chan, I'm into Android development, and I'd like to estimate costs of building a server for an app that I will develop myself.
The app will have geolocalazition and User interface, all the apps will communicate with the server sending and receiving information.
I believe it is not resource intensive, it is not a game.
Of course I will start small, but I'm not sure if I can do that with small server, much like a PC and stuff or if I will need professional stuff.
How small the sever can be when I start?
What happens if I need to escalate?
Should I hire a server, like amazon or something smaller is ok?
A common website host is enough?
Can someone give me some directions for a completly clueless man?
You could start out renting some space at DigitalOcean, or the like.
>>57513992
You need about 3 money
>>57514021
Oh, I see, so renting a host is really ok, that seems the best option.
Do you have an idea how much they charge?
>>57514036

Why is firefox still such a fucking slow piece of shit?
I feel like clawing my eyes out everytime I use it.
These tests were done on a Skylake Xeon, 16GB of RAM and a PCI-Express SSD. e10s enabled and dom.ipc.processCount set to 50. Now tell me Firefox isn't slow:

No one cares about your choice of browser, OP. Why are you so obsessed with what everyone else uses? If Chrome suits your needs, use Chrome. No one is holding a gun to your head and forcing you to use Firefox.
Firefox is a bloated piece of shit, but a lot of its issues are addressed by its numerous forks, which probably enjoy a lot more usage share than FF. I use Pale Moon because I need several FF-exclusive extensions that happen to be compatible with PM, and because PM removes much of FF's bloat.
Chrome absolutely does not suit my needs, therefore I do not use Chrome. I don't care if Chrome renders Web pages faster or even has a faster start-up time. That has nothing to do with my choice of Web browser.
Anyone have an IPTV playlist that actually works?
Playing sports etc?

Pay a cable service Tyrone.
install GentooTV
What do you prefers personally for music listening ? Speakers or Headphones?
>>57513771
speakers is of course vastly superior given your room conditions
i use both depending on the day time and usage
>>57513836
This. If you get really good car speakers, really good headphones, and a nice HT system, the same song brings out something slightly different on each one. I find it's best to regularly swap between the 3 in order to get the best experience.
>>57513771
i've had a range of depressed frequencies in one ear since i was a child. my brain is completely adjusted to this and i don't notice left-right distortion, except when i am wearing headphones.
headphones unnaturally lock your head in a fixed position relative to the apparent source. for this reason they will always sound less realistic than speakers, because the imaging scenario is not realistic. keep in mind that everyone has some degree of physical hearing distortion that their perception compensates for.
China's TaihuLight running Ubuntu named world's fastest supercomputer again, with processing capacity of 93 petaflops
i should hope it is the fastest to deal with all that bloat

It doesn't even run Ubuntu
Should I buy a drone or would it get me into to much trouble in my inner city neighborhood? And also are Apple drones any good?
You should honestly just slit your wrists and cut your dick off while you bleed to death in a bathtub full of bleach.
>>57513728
Wow you must not like drones. I'm not planing on spying on anyone I was going to attach a flyer for my small business and fly it over the mall for advertising.
>>57513759
Just heads-up: if you fly that piece of shit anywhere near my house I will jam that shit, recover it, and then sell that shit on ebay.

Post your clusters
My second Beowulf cluster, for my University. Going to be testing the density of calculations and the return on adding more lower end systems into the cluster.
What type of applications will you be using this for? Are you using OpenMPI? How time consuming is it to put all of this shit together?
