>Fell for the "deep learning neural network" meme
what are you talking about? why did you even post this?
>>57976125
/g/ told me it was the future several years ago so I specialized in it during my CS major.
Now that it's outdated tech, i'm unemployable
It amazes me how program structure and designs are resembling the human brain more and more as we progress.

The Agile Manifesto is a statement from a number of development gurus espousing four principles:
Individuals and interactions over processes and tools
Working software over comprehensive documentation
Customer collaboration over contract negotiation
Responding to change over following a plan
Nothing that's any good ever came out of agile development.
>>57976115
Uhhhhh, you know that thing you're using right now? The WORLD WIDE WEB. Yeah. That came from agile development, you clod.

hot air instead of doing something useful
I wish to power down (D3 hot) my Ethernet interface to save power. I would also like to power off other devices, wut do?
Deb 8 on an X40 Thinkpad.
I know that common answers for powering off a device are to unload the driver or turn off the device in the BIOS, but I have no evidence that this always puts devices into D3 hot state.
Already using powertop, suggestions for other tools, utilities, etc welcome.
Disable the device in ur bios fukwad
>>57976107
There's no proof that this puts a device into the D3 state anon. I turned off the IR in the BUOS and it's still powered according to powertop.
Torrenting is dying.
What is going to be its replacement?

I am looking at making a computer on a bit of a budget. I decided to wait for AMD to release the Zen CPUs before building the system as I know AMD CPUs are cheaper and with the hopeful news articles and benchmarks, faster than the current i7s. I am going to use a Summit Ridge CPU as I am wantingnto get a lot of performance out of this system. Should I wait for Zen to come out or is Zen a joke of a CPU architecture?
>>57976005
>Should I wait for Zen
>I am going to use a Summit Ridge CPU
???
>>57976030
Oops, let me rephrase: I am lookingnat using a Summit Ridge CPU
>>57976005
if you can wait about a month, all will be revealed. Zen event is tomorrow at 3PM CST
How can I connect this to a power cable
It's from old computer speakers and it's missing the power connector part so I stripped it and want to power it but how do I solder this
Just buy a 50 cent power cable, they're everywhere.
You're more likely to do a shit job and burn your house down if you need to ask us how to do such a simple task.
>>57976082
Or cut out the middleman and set fire to your house using traditional means.
>>57976082
Power cable from where
What type voltage in and out
It's to power this
What cables do I connect there's alot of colors

/g/ is doing people a disservice by pointing them to other distros like Fedora and Arch.
