so instead of helping your friend, you go to an anime imageboard and try to... what? laugh at him?
You are pathetic human being OP, everybody can smell that.

How long do i have until my hardrive dies?
>>57980666
Back up your shit now so won't have to care when it actually dies later
About a week or so. Mount it as read-only in a GNU/Linux distro, and get to C-p-ing

but i cant afford to go any amount of time without all my software.
My Asus Radeon HD 7970 has been declining in performance and crashing/overheating with even the lightest loads for quite some time. Took the bait and bought it cheaply from eBay used and without warranty. Not happening again.
I'm thinking of switching to Nvidia and, with about $400 to spend, I'm trying to find the sweet spot, the best deal of price vs performance. I'll also consider Radeon cards (it's not AMD's fault that my card was screwed) if you'd recommend me one since I haven't regretted a purchase that /g/ recommended yet. My current front-runner is the GTX 1060 with 6 GB Vram but I'm also considering the Rx 480 Nitro+. Should I?
Made a spreadsheet with various local shops and prices in euros ($400 is about 380 euros) for the GTX cards and now I'm researching the Radeon Cards for comparison. Trying to find the sweet spot.
>>57980580
For DX12, you'll want a radeon. At the $400 category you'll want either a Fury, or wait for the new Vega based cards.
>>57980642
>Fury
Ahahahahaha, retard
i made a little Code for my freind to decipher, only i little joke, How could i make it stronger? also try to figure it our yourself: 268503517386406384006849948478742560556620582059676263954101954573220330724877992983811465293344

Why does windows require a restart to update the system? How have they still not addressed this?
>>57980440
Not always
Probably these updates require unloading certain system elements and if it would be done w/o rebooting, Windows could crash.
>>57980440
It's because Windows has way too much critical functionality in the kernel, which is much easier to modify before the machine starts than while it is already running. Addressing this would probably require them reworking huge portions of their OS, and to be honest, it has been getting at least a little bit better. Still not nearly as good as systems which maintain reasonable separation between user programs and the OS kernel.

Why does linux require a restart to update the kernel? How have they still not addressed this?
Can a bigger brain than mine help me out with something?
There's these new diamonds, see. They're radioactive. So to stop the radioactivity from seeping out, they put the radioactive diamonds in ones that aren't radioactive.
Each of these diamonds spits out very little power individually per day, but they will continue to spit out precisely that much power for the next 5,000 years.

How many of these would you need in series to produce as much power as an AA? Or even a single watt of electricity?
bout tree fiddy
>>57980382
lol what?
it depends on how you harness the radiation
>>57980472
this
>>57980382
I did a quick Google search. In order to equate the nominal energy a 1.5V AA outputs, you'd need to know the resistance you have. If we assume they're both 1 Ohm, then you'd need about 1,200 diamonds. To put it simply, a shitton.

Is there any bigger red flag then this?

Hi, does somebody know how to program this exercise in C++? Sorry for mi bad English.

Vector=array
Homework, college, and interviews don't just exist for no reason, they are barriers to weed out failures. If you have to ask, you are never going to get a job or start your own business, since it's just going to be about exponentially lying the entire time.
the mad man did it
"What you’re seeing here is a CUBE with four VEGA prototype boards. There are obviously no VEGA graphics processors installed, but there’s enough space to fit four VEGA interposers.
The ‘Koduri Cube’ (not the actual name) would deliver 100 TFLOPS of half-precision computing power (4x 25 TFLOPs). This deep-learning device has a special interface, which was not documented or officially introduced yet. We suspect this could be AMD’s response to NVIDIA’s NVLink, but unlike Tesla P100, it would be installed vertically."

Why should a normal perosn use pic related?
For normal pc-shit. Everything normal people need can be done more easily on linux than windows 10.
