instead of a network of computers we should have a network of people, basically each persons experience and thoughts can be handled like how we handle data through routers and modems. the ultimate hivemind.

to extend from this, what i mean is like instead of looking for a pdf on how to code C++, you just look for the experiences a person had learning C++, then upload it to your brain's storage directory using IPv7 which is somewhat buggy but gets the job done B^).

I'm not going to use it if it's still as curry-tier as CM was. CM ROMs are only worth using if an actual developer comes along (e.g. SultanXDA) and makes an unofficial build that fixes all the garbage curry code and pajeet-tier kernel decisions that CM made.

I'm just waiting for Resurrection Remix to change their mi 4c 7.1.1 rom to it

Tabs are a degenerate form of indentation.

I like lining stuff up precisely how I like it.

Depends on what your gonna be doing, for simple things like VOIP it should do fine but if you want to do more "PROFESSIONAL" shit you should consider spending more money.

get an AT2020 or something more serious if you're going to use at home - something with a proper stand and pop filter etc

Pull the casing off and take a picture. It's a bit silly to be an extender. My guess would be flash drive with USB pass through so you aren't taking up all of the USB ports.

>2017 Kaby Lake i7

Did we hit a wall on single core IPC performance?

Is it going to be like this forever?

Or, will it get even worse (less than 25% speed-up in the next 6 years)?

Who knows.
They have been focusing on reducing power consumption and heat before charging forward with more speed.

In the past they could bump the clock speed up....

Now they actually have to make improvements to the arch

What's the point of switching to Linux if you're gonna install DRM and anti-cheat software? They're no better than the Windows spyware and in some cases more invasive.

Because you're still running them on something that isn't Windows and is therefore superior.

How do you refurbish a cable?

wouldn't it cost less to just scrap for metal and make another one?

Depends on the issue and the wire. If there's a simple break or something, you could chop the wire by the break and with minimal terminating effort have two smaller cables. Or, splicing wires is pretty cheap and quick, especially if you have a machine to automate it.

What do you believe are some technologies that have yet to mature before they are worth buying?

I'll start:

1. Drones:
Still very limited flying duration can carry anything more sophisticated than a GoPro at common consumer price points.

2. Smart Watches:
Way too little processing power and short battery life. I don't even think these will improve much to be honest. Moore's law on the verge of collapse within the next decade.

Why the fuck does a smart watch need more processing power than what they have already?

>2 yr IT degree
>little-related job experience

how do I go about looking for an entry level IT job? do I need to go out and get a+ cert or ccna to go along with my degree?

what kind of job roles do I even qualify for with barely even work experience? call center meme stuff?

Certs, internships, freelance, projects

However, my advice is shit considering I have a good bit of projects, an associates (working for bachelor's now though) and some experience yet can't land a single job even1 when I'm firing off applications like crack.

Hopefully with the compTIA A+ cert I'm about to get I'll actually get a job that at least has SOMETHING to do with computers.

Apply to everything. Might as well. On the plus side by doing this myself I've gotten some advice from employers.
