i3 6100 will destroy a 6300 any day for about $30 more

If you are running a 750ti, don't upgrade to a rx 460. The gains will be extremely minimal. Try to find a used radeon 7970 if your power supply can handle it, or a gtx 960 if your power supply is wimpy. Do NOOOT buy a 960 brand new btw. If you can't afford a craigslist gtx 960, don't upgrade your gpu at all until you have more money.

Nah, i wouldn't get a new build at all right now. Skylake prices are being raised (at least in EU), Kaby Lake is a disappointment so far, AM3+ is dead and Zen isn't released yet.

Programming on windows is a pain in the ass. Programming on Unix and Linux is "just werks" because you can use a package manager to download any library you need and it will work after running the pm.

PPI well beyond what the human eye can possibly distinguish without a powerful microscope is a meme for a regular display.

For an application like VR, where the display is being magnified to fit your whole field of vision, you're going to want a PPI that's completely fucking insane.

I hear they work. That's a good thing.

I know some leak alleged it was powered by a Tegra X1, but I'll assume for the sake of all parties involved that this isn't the case. If that was true it would mean Nintendo bought actual scrap chips that would be otherwise thrown away. More so being a leaky 20nm planar part the perf/watt of the X1 is just awful under load. If clocks actually were pushed down to reported levels then the total performance would be unspeakably poor as well.

I would hope that its using a new design.
Beyond that, who really cares? Its a stupid concept.

Needs at least 4+ hours of battery life for me to ever consider it. Preferably 8 or more, but that's likely not possible due to size/weight limitations.
