Guys, what is this device on this CISS?
What does it do?
Remove bubbles?
Pump the ink?
>>58352213
Probably tells the printer how old the ink is.
>So that after you use half of it, it will say LOL EXPIRED GIB MOR MONEY NOW!
>>58352276
No, this thing was no made by EPSON.
In fact, the listing says this CISS system has a reset button on the cartridge to trick the printer into thinking it's a new cartridge.
So it can't be that.
>>58352213
its a peristalsis pump
Does anyone on /g/ own a Windows tablet?
What do you use it for? Web browsing is a pain because there's no good dedicated "apps" for browsing and typing on the on-screen keyboard is a pain without proper working text prediction and "swipe" input.
I should've just gotten an Android tablet instead.
>>58352207
I do, terrible without a proper keyboard
>>58352207
manga and porn
>>58352221
both would be better on android

what's the difference between vi and vim?
i was on a fresh ubuntu installation and ran vi, then i installed vim, and ran it, but they appeared to be the same program.
>>58352110
vi no longer really exists
vi these days is just a symlink to vim, just like ‘sh’ these days is just a symlink to bash
>>58352113
so, for example, why there is no vimtutor.
i have to do apt-get install vim
and only then i have vimtutor
you'll notice a difference if you try to use vi the same way you use vim. I think some distros come with vi but no vim.

I am so happy that some companies straight up tell you to get fucked if you start talking about CoC.

>be on a 12 hour flight
>entertainment system crashes
Thanks loonix
>>58352053
You can ask the FA to force a restart. Happened to me on a 16 hr flight. DXB-LAX
>>58352053
Pretty much the only time Linux crashes it's a bad kernel that some moron compiled or a hard disk error.
This is probably the latter.
There, I fell for the bait, are you happy?
>>58352068
I did tell them to restart. It segfaulted and the i/o drivers borked.
Hello there,
Today I would like to ask you, my fellas full of knowledge, about the best encrypting app on your mobile phone.
Lets pretend you are paranoid af, and you don't want anybody to take a look at your messages. Expect the one who receives it.
I heard that Wickr deletes every message after one day (am I correct?). But what about its safety?
Looking forward to hear from you, heterosexual and homosexual pterodactyls.
PS.
These 2 ducks invited me for some threesome. U jelly?
>>58352002
>signal, open source, and best on the list. but uses phone number as username
>telegram rolls their own shitty crypto and has written blog posts about it; serious concern to industry security analysts also not open source
Check out Riot.
What about Wickr?
Nobody has anything to say about that app?
Does /g/ use the standing desks meme?
If so, store-bought or DIY?
Fully-fledged or converter?
Does it feel better than sitting down?
>Cheapest I could find so far is $299 SmartDesk 2
http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S49084965/
this is what i use and i love it. I mostly stand now and my back feels much better. It takes some getting used to obviously, but it's great.
>>58351939
Just make your own there's no reason to spend that much
I remember having this discussion not too long ago.
https://rbt.asia/g/thread/S58236305
TL;DR: If you are doing computer work then sit. Prolonged sitting or standing is bad for you.
16gb of ram isn't a meme.
I usually have GIMP, kdenlive, CALC, Transmission, a music player, rstudio, wine, and >20 chrome tabs going at once.
I peak at around 14 gigs at times.
I also have no swap partition. ;)
>>58351936
>bunch of freetard crap
yeah maybe if you used actual professionally coded software it wouldn't take so much RAM
>>58352080
zing zing
>>58351936
I don't know about rstudio, but those other things don't even take up 2gb total (chrome eating most of it).
>14 gigs

Continued because last one was deleted.
Has anybodies been cancelled yet?
Not yet. Still hoping.
Mine hasn't canceled but it's not showing up on my credit card statement anymore. It was "pending" earlier.
I received an actual order confirmation email today, but no shipping notice yet.
Hey /g/, the computer I'm using has no administrator access, although I could get it I don't want to mess with the files and leave any traces, what would you recommend to use to boot Windows? I'm thinking a SanDisk 128GB 3.0 USB flash drive zip disquette dongle for 30$, would the read speed be enough for heavier apps/games?
give it back sheniqua
Return it Jamal
>>58351742
give it back
Are these any good?
My buddy says its the top notch,
"le creme del' creme" and there's nothing better on the market
My question is, how do I shut his fucking mouth with cheaper and better stuff?
A K70 Lux or a proper mech and a g502 shits on that combo for less. Razer keyboard with terrible switches that differ and break easily. Plus shit warranty.
>>58351775
Thanks bro, I'll look for it and shove it on his face
>>58351792
I use a KB Paradise V60 mini with gateron blues for gaming. Cheaper than the razer and with better switches.
>Wake up at 10 (ish)
>go to bed at 3-4am

How much time do you spend in front of your pc /g/? How much is too much?
