Windows 10 won't boot, it's stuck on preparing automatic repair.
I tried everything, nothing worked. The only thing left to do is reinstall Windows (Jesus Christ, Microsoft tech support sucks).
I don't want to lose all my data. I have it all stored in the same partition where the OS installed. What would be the fastest way to retrieve it?
Thanks in advance, /g/.
grab a ubuntu live cd. boot into it then clone the windows partition onto another drive.
then look through said drive to recover all your data then reinstall windows.
Install your OS on another hard drive.

It's lacking element blocking and it's buggy/prone to crashing. But otherwise, there is great potential in it, it's the best QT browser out there.
Not enough developers on that thing. It would be good otherwise.
Whats the point of 4k on a 5.5" smartphone?
To run your battery low faster so you think you need to buy another phone next year.

I am looking for a cheap E-Book reader for <60€ What does /g/ recoomend? Doesnt matter how old it is (is there a thinkpad equivalent for this).
My only expectations are no glaring, and the ability to read pdfs (I dont care if I manually have to convert them).
Kobo e-reader
A used kindle or kobo is your best bet for cheap and good.

We use XMPP.
Why would anyone use Ruby when you can use Smalltalk?
>>59429373
Because Ruby is less of an island and meme and you have an upgrade path to Crystal once it's ready.
>>59429373
Most """programmers""" are useless fashion-driven shitheads, of course they would pick Ruby or some other idiotic shit.

Do you know of a good place for beginners to learn Java? It can be a website, a book etc.
Also is Eclipse a good tool for Java beginners? Some of my friends recommended it to me.
I'm currently using
http://mooc.fi/courses/2013/programming-part-1/
And so far, it's pretty good.
Grab a java textbook.
I don't recommend websites if you're a true beginner- besides googling for shit you don't understand.
I recommend the Daniel Liang book; introduction to java programming
It's really as simple as getting a book and working through it.
Okay, I have been watching some of these vidoes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hl-zzrqQoSE&index=1&list=PLFE2CE09D83EE3E28, because a friend of mine recommended it to me after learning it himself. I just feel like it lacks tasks and projects that make you have to think for yourself.
