This might be a question for /mu/ but in some of the battlestation threads I have seen some pretty sweet headsets.
Between the Sennheiser HD 201 and HD 202-II monitor headphones, which ones would be a better choice for music production?
Something to consider:
- I do not own any external audio interface, only the one from my laptop.
- Creating music is my hobbie, something that I can come home exhausted from work and enjoy doing. Not a professional
career nor in pursuit of one.
- I mainly produce electro/chill, maybe with a flavor of hiphop sometimes.
- Price difference is not significant for my decision.

KYS yourself, also

>spending less than $80 on headphones
Those are budget headphones, either should be fine. The cool headphones that people here talk about and you see in battlestation threads tend to cost several hundred dollars.
Next time check please the catalog for the headphone general thread before making a new thread for a question like this.
>tfw you fell for the OLED meme
>>59977350
The Moto 360 is IPS LCD you autistic cunt. Can you fuck off back to plebbit?
IDK why Apple doesn't use OLED. It fits with their planned obsolescence pretty well. I have slight burn in on my Nexus 6p after just a year of use (the home/back/multi tasking buttons are barely visible in full screen apps), iPhones switching to OLED would force normies to upgrade after 2 years easily.
>>59977646
IPS is still cheaper to make, glued battery is already a good enough fail point for people to replace there phones. OLED even after 3 years doesn't look bad if you use your phone normally you would have to be looking for it to notice any degradation.
Is there currently (or any on the way) USB Type-C based PC gamepads? I'm ready to totally write MicroUSB out of my life.
They are useless. Gamepad is slow enough to run on USB 2.0 without problem. Nobody will be implementing fast standard with more expensive hardware only to change shape of the plug.
>>59978771
He didn't say anything about the speed, he's talking about the connector.
Nintendo switch pro controller is USB C, not sure if it works with PC but I'm sure it will soon if not already.

GOOGLE IS ADDING A NATIVE AD BLOCKER TO CHROME
https://www.wsj.com/articles/google-plans-ad-blocking-feature-in-popular-chrome-browser
>Alphabet Inc.’s Google is planning to introduce an ad-blocking feature in the mobile and desktop versions of its popular Chrome web browser, according to people familiar with the company’s plans.
>The ad-blocking feature, which could be switched on by default within Chrome, would filter out certain online ad types deemed to provide bad experiences for users as they move around the web.
>Unacceptable ad types would be those recently defined by the Coalition for Better Ads, an industry group thatreleased a list of ad standards in March. According to those standards, ad formats such as pop-ups, auto-playing video ads with sound and “prestitial” ads with countdown timers are deemed to be “beneath a threshold of consumer acceptability.”
>>Unacceptable ad types would be those recently defined by the Coalition for Better Ads
so google's are acceptable
run your ads through google's systems, or don't get your ads displayed

Based Google.
>>59977146
Apple has had this shit for almost 2 years. And its not biased towards Google's own ads like I'm sure Chrome's version will be

I want to study for ccna. What would be beneficial for me to have in my home network? Such as a cisco router and a cisco switch. Would anything else be beneficial?
Two routers, two switches.
You can get some cheap shit off ebay.

Any particular ones? In a sense of them being outdated or anything?

> I used to think that it was a privilege to serve people who also loved the idea of service, but now I think many members of the free software community are just deeply antisocial types who love to hate on whatever is mainstream,
> When Windows was mainstream they hated on it. Rationally, Windows does many things well and deserves respect for those. And when Canonical went mainstream, it became the focus of irrational hatred too.
> The very same muppets would write about how terrible it was that IOS/Android had no competition and then how terrible it was that Canonical was investing in (free software!) compositing and convergence. Fuck that shit.

>>59976824
Obviously?
>>59976824
He has a terminal case of not-invented-here syndrome. He, his company, and the distro as a whole made bad technical choices. The free-software world, unlike a lot of other communities, was willing to straight up tell him he was making bad technical choices, instead of being all polite and buddy-buddy. He took it personally and kept doing it. As a result the free-software world reciprocated and now also dislikes him, his company, and his distro, personally.
He made his own bed and now he's shocked and appalled to find himself lying in it.
