Help me recover my porn folder! I'm on a mac and I hid my porn folder in the package contents part of Spotify under the applications folder. Spotify must have updated because I just noticed that the folder isnt there anymore! What can I do to recover it?

iPhone 4 ? im dead pls change
>>59981387
Grab a large magnet and pass it on your hard drive. The porn files will be attracted to the magnet and be undeleted.
Better swipe it about 5 times to be sure it’ll recover the right files.
this keeps happening. should i buy a good quality cable rather than buying shitty cheaper ones?
stop using lightning or kys
>>59981336
Get a braided cable, I have one that's currently lasting me a lot longer than any other before it, and still isn't showing signs of wear.

How do we stop the move towards applications as a service?
Fuck this subscription model bullshit. $10 a month for MS Office? $20 a month for Adobe Illustrator. Imagine if other tools you owned did this. imagine having to subscribe to your screwdriver company just to access a screwdriver? $50 to subscribe to a password manager.
I do what I can shunning the big companies who are forcing subscriptions onto me, I use Pixelmater and Affinity Designer now, fuck Adobe. But today I saw that an astronomy app on my phone is putting all it's new features to a subscription only service, not even a one off in-app purchase.
Pic related: the kind of freedom using a computer used to feel like.

>$50 to subscribe to a password manager.
thats your problem here, using a password manager. don't you have a brain god gave you?
Totally agree. It has to stop now.
>>59981274
they haven't figured how to improve their software so they could release a new iteration once in a while, so they figured they need your money somehow and that's through paying monthly for the same shit
Should an i7 6700k do the job if im upgrading from a i5 6400 or is there any other CPU that i should buy instead?
>>59981270
Ryzen 5 1600X, or 1700X if you do any sort of server/media creation

I've googled it for you faggot, check this for the instructions: https://exceljet.net/formula/max-if-criteria-match
its really fun being a 'c purist' because its litteraly the easiest language to learn yet everyone respects it hahahah
you can learn the entire of c after reading one 120 page book in one sitting
meanwhile REAL languages like javascript have both oop and actual functional programming built in, C is just a weird sewage of bad practices and unsafe code
How does perl hold up against other languages such as C++?
You don't have to try so hard to get a You anon, just act flirty on /b/ or something, it would be enough
remember when opera had 1 gimmick that made it some-what better than chrome
(after it initially stole chrome's entire backend and became just chrome with a red theme)

Alphabet Inc.’s Google is planning to introduce an ad-blocking feature in the mobile and desktop versions of its popular Chrome web browser, according to people familiar with the company’s plans.
The ad-blocking feature, which could be switched on by default within Chrome, would filter out certain online ad types deemed to provide bad experiences for users as they move around the web.
Google could announce the feature within weeks, but it is still ironing out specific details and still could decide not to move ahead with the plan, the people said.
Unacceptable ad types would be those recently defined by the Coalition for Better Ads, an industry group that released a list of ad standards in March. According to those standards, ad formats such as pop-ups, auto-playing video ads with sound and “prestitial” ads with countdown timers are deemed to be “beneath a threshold of consumer acceptability.”
In one possible application Google is considering, it may choose to block all advertising that appears on sites with offending ads, instead of the individual offending ads themselves. In other words, site owners may be required to ensure all of their ads meet the standards, or could see all advertising across their sites blocked in Chrome.
>>59980832
By switching on its own ad-filter, Google is hoping to quell further growth of blocking tools offered by third-party companies, the people said, some of which charge fees in exchange for letting ads pass through their filters.
Google already pays to be part of an “Acceptable Ads” program offered by software company Eyeo GmbH, for example, which develops popular ad-blocking tool Adblock Plus. As a result, advertising on Google’s search engine and some of the other ads it powers are allowed to pass through Adblock Plus’s filters.

>ppl still use AdblockPlus

Are we close to a price drop on 2017 OLED TVs? Anyone have one of those LG B6s or G6s? Or should I just get a used Pioneer Kuro 500M and wait for OLED to iron out all of their issues?
I'm getting sick of convergence, peeling anti-glare coating, and overscan issues on my Trinitron 34XBR960. It's great for film, especially analog sources, but it's becoming increasingly awful for anything with menus or straight lines even after my own (probably shitty) calibrations.
>>59980529
Correction: 2016 OLEDs
Shit's are >$2000 right now and Kuros range from $400-1500.
>Plasma masterrace
but anon my 4k $10,000 led bullshit has such a good contrast ratio when the screen is black it looks like the tv is turned off hurrr
>my samsung plasma has been doing that since 2007, when it was built
>>59980680
>led bullshit
That was my justification for years and why I've been satisfied with my CRT for so long. LED is not the same as OLED though. "LED" was just LCD with backlighting, and LCDs were invariably disappointing. OLED is a different beast. Check them out in a controlled setting with proper calibration if you can. The image quality is pretty damn comparable to Kuros. Maybe better, but I haven't seen them side by side.
What Samsung plasma do you have?
Emojis for 4chan when?
