Is there currently (or any on the way) USB Type-C based PC gamepads? I'm ready to totally write MicroUSB out of my life.
They are useless. Gamepad is slow enough to run on USB 2.0 without problem. Nobody will be implementing fast standard with more expensive hardware only to change shape of the plug.

Nintendo switch pro controller is USB C, not sure if it works with PC but I'm sure it will soon if not already.

maybe you haven't used a USB C connector yet, but they can carry USB 2 and they're a mile better than micro b.

why would you want usb c out of curiosity
I would bet the c connector costs a few extra bucks in parts/whatever than the micro usb that has been in service for years now.
