This might be a question for /mu/ but in some of the battlestation threads I have seen some pretty sweet headsets.
Between the Sennheiser HD 201 and HD 202-II monitor headphones, which ones would be a better choice for music production?
Something to consider:
- I do not own any external audio interface, only the one from my laptop.
- Creating music is my hobbie, something that I can come home exhausted from work and enjoy doing. Not a professional
career nor in pursuit of one.
- I mainly produce electro/chill, maybe with a flavor of hiphop sometimes.
- Price difference is not significant for my decision.

Those are budget headphones, either should be fine. The cool headphones that people here talk about and you see in battlestation threads tend to cost several hundred dollars.
Next time check please the catalog for the headphone general thread before making a new thread for a question like this.

m40x's are monitors for $100, not crazy expensive. Making music on things like those is gonna make the music sound like trash
