Will probably buy the highest model next time, awesome quality, will last forever
Which one should I choose? I have to make a decision between these two. Pros and cons?
Which one would you advise and why?
Go use each one for a bit and pick what you like better. It literally doesn't matter.

they're both good phones, you need to see for yourself if you prefer the apple ecosystem (icloud, accessories, etc) or android which is more flexible and open.
it's just a phone, man. Any flagship is perfectly usable, just try it out first.

Looking to maybe go mATX over mini ITX for my next build but nearly all mATX are as big as ATX cases or ugly as shit. Pic related (Silverstone TJ08-e) is cool, however it's old and might not be good for modern builds. Am i stuck with mini ITX for good looking smallcases?
Shill cases, post experiences, show your guts, idc as long as it'srelevant.

why do i need to buy that windowsRT laptop again?

You don't need either.

dunno senpai, i got the first gen one for like 50 bucks used and it works great for not taking and general school fuckery.
Is it ok if I use semen as thermal paste? I've been reading on here and tomshardware and it seems like it's an alright idea. I have about 20ml saved up but I figure I can just produce some fresh on the spot. I can't find any info if I should use fresh or aged cum. I'm assuming a pea sized amount should be sufficient as with traditional methods.

it works very well, can confirm

in /rbg/ we discuss buidling robots n' shit
>how do i build a robot?
no clue lmao, resistors n' shiet
>how do i get parts for my robot?
you get them from amazon or any other site, like anything else
>why does this exist
to build robots, robots are the future
>what is the next step in your master plan?
building robots with robots
>>60176768
>robots are the future
Actually genetic engineering may pave the way to purposefully engineered organic lifeforms like cat girls. Robots are just one way for man to play God.
>>60177992
Technology is just the application of scientific knowledge to solving problems. Therefore, genetically engineered cat girls are technology.
Hey /g/,
What's the best router I can get for max $60 with the best range? OpenWRT or whatever doesn't matter, a nice UI wouldn't be bad though. Range is what matters the most.
>>60176490
Also, dual band, min 250Mbps
>>60176490
what about the low end asus serie?
>>60176590
Checked RT-AC51U, but the range is shit. Some don't even have antennas.

Intellectual monopoly is the greatest obstacle in the progress of technology and mankind. IM's only purpose is to generate easy money for lazy parasites that leech and drain from those who truly create, recreate and improve.
Intellectual Monopoly Parasites impede progress. Progress make the world a better place, it improves lives and save lives. Parasites are murderers.

I know this aint XDA bois, but at least hear me out.
i have an Applock idea, and XDA wont be able to answer this from a wide scale consumer standpoint.
Target market is parents who allow their young child to play on phones unattended
The idea is that the application will allow parents to set timed locks
>Choose day/s to lock app/s
>Choose time of the day to have the app/s unlocked
>During time of app locking, the parent may have the option of entering a passcode, or set it to be inaccessible until the next scheduled unlock period
>When the unlock timeframe is exceeded, the parent may then set the applock to either terminate the app(which may cause data loss), or set a grace period with warning audio/notification before app terminates
>They may also launch an app from inside the applock, in which they will set a time limit for the app
Here are my 3 questions:
>Is it practical from a parent's standpoint?
>Will it profit if monetized?
>Is there already an existing app that offers those kinds of security measures?
Nice idea OP but microsoft already does this. U can make an app but it will br hard to monetize with ads, u can have a monthly subscription plan but then u'll have to add more features to the app and will have to maintain an online server too...Good luck.
>>60175704
i do like to know what that MS app is.
as for monetization, i was thinking of one-time charge. I have to admit, maintenance and upgrading is a bitch, but there will come a time when the app will have reached its full potential function-wise, thus making it redundant to add unnecessary features. the only long term maintenance is compatibility for future android versions
>>60175763
Ms doesnt have an app but a service for all windows users with the same functionality u want.
As for paid app, people usually buy paid apps OP, but if u think paid is better u should allow it though in-app purchase from a lite version of the app.
So I just got the IP of someone who got banned from /g/ in October 2016. I didn't even own this phone back then.
I wonder how high the odds are. How often does it happen to you?
Also isn't plain IP ban outdated? What could you use for more efficient banning in a not authenticated web environment
banning is outdated. We should promote free speech
>Also isn't plain IP ban outdated?
It's easy to bypass but it's still good enough since 99% don't know how to bypass it
>What could you use for more efficient banning in a not authenticated web environment
Not telling you Hiro :^)
banning all phoneposters would solve most problems
/g/ help me, my computer might be dying
When I first start it up, it"ll run for awhile. Then abruptly shut off. This is after being off for awhile, or being asleep
When I try to start it back up it will turn off after shorter amounts of time. It will make all the noise it usually does then a *blip* and its shut off
The weird thing is, eventually when I got it to stay on, it stayed on, for like 3 days. I played games, browsed, watched movies, everything I could to stress it, and it was fine.
I then turned it off again, then 8 hours later I try to turn it back on and same problem is happening. I've given up on getting it back on and am now using my laptop
I really don't have a clue on what it could be. Overheating seems obvious, but then why did it stay on for so long with no problems
My cpu is amd fx 8350 and GIGABYTE GA-990FXA mobo on windows 7
I've had the rig for about 4 years now, and I kept it in decent shape, why would it do this to me now?
I had the same problem so i just unassembled my rig, cleaned it and then assembled it back. Cleanliness is important.
>>60175516
Yeah it seems I will have to go that route
I feel like the parts warming up trigger the auto shutdown. Because once they are in use it doesnt seem like theres a problem
It happening so suddenly I'm really concerned its a part gone bad. Is this common at all when say a mobo goes bad or something like that?
I don't have alot of computer knowledge, I built this rig but it was alot of touch and go
Usually its not the motherboard so u dont have to worry about it.
Its usually some other peripheral. Also, i too, don't have a lot of knowledge but built my rig myself :^)
Also,Check the Bios settings for heat indication and auto shutdown.
What happened to these? There was a huge amount of fuss about them not long ago and now it seems to have fizzled out completely
>>60175339

it's a fucking retarded idea, copying microshit way to bundle dll's with each and every program you install.
just let it bit-rot, fuck flatpak and snaps
>>60175403
What are the supposed advantages of them?
>>60175464
not having to worry about what libs ship with your distro vs what program requires. it's supposed to be a solution for a non-existant problem if you're using a distro with a good repo
