I'm sick of my favourite shoes. After 5 years and 4 pairs in a row I want something else, too many people in my immediate friend group have these now. I like them because they're cheap, go with everything including shorts, and suit my long narrow feet. (Converse for example look like clown shoes on me). What should I get instead? They're a bit....boxy. Neither practical enough for day to day wear and not smart enough for a smart/casual gettup.
If i were you, i'd look for an ankle boot thats a bit sharper looking. I have a set of black brogued ankle boots with only a small set of detail and they're smart enough to dress up, but also look good with a set of jeans.
What are some good doc martens 1461's mono alternatives? Heard that build quality on these is shit.

Can someone red-pill me on re-dyeing jeans? I want to re-dye two pairs of black jeans I own that are pretty much gray, I washed them way too often.
I heard Rit Dye Liquid is good, and am considering buying some but don't know how much to use and what to do after dyeing, like how to wash them, if I can wash them with other clothes or if simply wearing them could cause them to stain shoes or shirts.
