Can someone red-pill me on re-dyeing jeans? I want to re-dye two pairs of black jeans I own that are pretty much gray, I washed them way too often.
I heard Rit Dye Liquid is good, and am considering buying some but don't know how much to use and what to do after dyeing, like how to wash them, if I can wash them with other clothes or if simply wearing them could cause them to stain shoes or shirts.
Read the instructions anon, it's on the packet, very easy. Buy some salt as well, you'll need it

go to goodwill and buy a cheap stock pot.
get liquid rit at a drug store, salt, and nitrile gloves.
keep it on the stove for a few hours stirring and picking up and repositioning often. (i would use 1.5 bottles for a pair of jeans)
do you have a plastic or enamel bathtub?
plastic might stain, if so get a big storage tub and rinse in cold with a garden house in the yard.
wa-la black jeans.
