The reading population of /co/ is simultaneously more and less than you'd expect, depending on which side allows for more shitposting, and there's this fairly odd divide between comic /co/ and cartoon /co/, but it's fairly even despite the majority of threads being comic based (because the Big Two gives so much material to bitch about).

>The goal of this survey is to build a resource that allows creators to have more information about standard rates in the comics industry. We also hope this data will encourage more professionals not to accept work that pays below certain standards.

>The data below was gathered anonymously from a sample size of 100 comics professionals. The data represents a resource in the process of being built — given the small and non-representative sample, we are not drawing conclusions or interpreting the data at this point. We will continue collecting surveys about 2016 rates until May 2017, and these results will be updated quarterly. The original books are the best! But the Rocketeer Adventures floppies are pretty shallow, and not as fun. I still think we need more stories of Cliff, or at least a large hardbacked art book.

Only just got around to watching Justice League Dark, what did you guys make of it?
I never watch DC animated films but as fans of the characters (fuck the Milligan comic) I thought I'd give it a try.
Lacklustre as FUCK. I'm pretty sure you could've easily condensed the film's events into one single good Justice League Animated episode and leave it at that.
Almost everything visual bar some character designs looked awful in this. Some perspective shots in the city were completely off and the everything felt cold and hollow. The tacky CG magic effects were jarring at best.
I'm glad Batman was relegated to being the everyman the audience can understand the film through, but they easily could've switched him with another magic user like Timothy Hunter. Too much screentime wasted on regular JL and Batman when they could've developed Boston, Swampy or Black Orchid more. Or even have Doctor Fate or the Phantom Stranger.
