Who?
Hey Pan
Why do you keep making these threads? If they don't survive then maybe there is no desire for discussion.

Pic related.
Seriously fuck the Ancient One,"Death is what gives life meaning", bitch is only saying that because she know's she's gonna kick the bucket. She was the first one to extend her life because everyone knows deep down inside death sucks.
Death is sick tho.

What's wrong with Steven Universe?
What are definining traits of mid-late 00's cartoons?
Thick outlines and more angular shapes and art styles.
Being mean-spirited.
>DUDE EVERY CHARACTER'S AN ASSHOLE LMAO
A running gag is that villains have been better fathers than a character's actual father.
huh, i never thought of that.
A running gag is that the show have never had one retcon or discrepancy. The only mistakes are small visuals like objects appearing in one scene then disappearing in the next scene.
A running gag is that everyone has a secret brother.

25 years ago a bunch of Marvel artists left the Big Two and decided to form their company, with blackjack and hookers. This company would eventually become the closest to a third competitor for DC and Marvel (lol) and the best known creator-owned comic book company out there.
This week it's time to put the spotlight on the "second wave" series, those books that weren't created by the founders but still managed to be an important part of the company's history.
Next up is the neverending story, Joe Madureira's Battle Chasers

Between Batman Beyond, The Killing Joke, and The Lego Batman Movie, why the fuck is WB trying to make Bruce/Babs a thing?
This is what happens when people who don't understand romance are given characters they don't understand.
>>89837016
Why are romances even needed?
>>89837033
Some people don't know how to write anything without using them.
One of the problems with The Killing Joke movie, is that it feels like somewhere down the line somebody couldn't comprehend why Bats would care about Babs so much if he wasn't shacking up with her, and wanted to force a romance to "raise the stakes" and make the impact of Bats finding out Babs had been crippled more powerful. They didn't seem to realize that there are other kinds of strong meaningful relationships that a grown man can have with a non relation post pubescent female that don't involve romance or fucking.
First season is the best.

I saw a clip of the new season today.
They switched to tween animation.
I wanted to die.
the three first were god tier tbqh
>Cosmo's old voice
It still catches me off guard.
They say all good things must come to an end.
They were obviously referring to our Classic Jughead marathon, which ends this afternoon
with the last ten issues of the 70's; 1979 to be specific.
How will Jughead Jones spend his final moments of the decade?
Eat? Sleep? Avoid girls? A combination of all three?
You'll only know the answer if you sit back, read on and bump every once in a while.

I liked the creepier space vampire horse look better.
I'd probably fuck anything female with a pulse at this point.
I was wondering what are considered the essential runs of Avengers?
busiek
>>89836549
- Stan Lee and Don Heck's "Cap's Kooky Quartet" era (issues 16-30) famous for kicking out the original team and becoming a team of ex-villains, established the Avengers as the book whose roster is always changing
- Roy Thomas took over the book and had the longest run, the key issues are 57-58 (introducing the Vision) and 89-97 (Kree-Skrull War)
- Steve Englehart used the book for wacky cosmic stuff and development of the Vision/Scarlet Witch relationship and Kang the Conqueror as the main villain. See issues 129-135 (Celestial Madonna saga)
- Roger Stern had a long run on the book whose most famous arc is the "Masters of Evil" storyline that eventually inspired Thunderbolts (270-277)
- Kurt Busiek had a long and successful run of which the two most famous stories are the Ultron Unlimited storyline (Avengers v3 issues 19-22) and the Kang Dynasty (Avengers v3 issues 41-55)
Brian Bendis then had a long run with a mostly revamped team, introduced the Avengers Tower and a bunch of other things. I can't say I know which are the best storylines from his run.
>>89837329
Thanks. I've read most of the modern stuff but am going to check Busiek's work.
