Opinions on subscription services?
If you have the money to spare, why not
Expensive
You get stuck with what they send you rather than being able to select what's the best/freshest/in season/etc.
>>7332196
they are all owned by jews and muslims
they start out sending you normal meals but then all of a sudden you get nothing but curry and that nasty psuedo dip shit
u jelly of my roast potato game?
Nope. Where's the rosemary and the garlic? Were those cooked in something tasty like duck or goose fat?
Though honestly those do look better than what is often seen.
>>7331983
i do usually put in garlic and rosemary or thyme but i was too lazy to mince the garlic and i had no herbs on hand
butter, half of which was clarified (ran out of clarified so i had to use some normal)
thanks

Looks good.
My staple lunch:
>white rice
>mix of 10 grains, lentils, oats, brown rice, mung beans, etc.
>goji berries
>pine nuts
>raisins
>aduki beans or black eye beans
I want to add something else, like a type of seed or soft nut, but I'm stumped. Any ideas /ck/?

Am I the only one who eats eggs with a spoon? I like my fried eggs over medium, but I hate spoiling delicious runny yolk so I eat it whole. Pic related.

no one cares enjoy your salmonella in silence

Salmonella is on the surface of shells, not magically distributed throughout the egg. It's gut bacteria, not an inherent egg ingredient
"In 1912, mayonnaise was manufactured basically exclusively in the UK. In addition to all the people on it, the Titanic was carrying 12,000 jars of Hellman's mayonnaise, bound for Vera Cruz, Mexico, the next port of call after New York. It would have been the largest single shipment of mayonnaise ever delivered to Mexico. But, it didn't get there, for obvious reasons.
The Mexican people loved mayonnaise so much that they actually declared a national day of mourning, which is still observed to this day, on the date the shipment was supposed to arrive: May 5th."
anyone else fucking love mayo?
Is this what passes for shitposting on /ck/ these days?

It's literally sinking of mayonnaise. The more you know.
What are some good vegetarian sources of protein/vegetarian dishes that are high in protein? I'm not a vegetarian/vegan, but I'm a poorfag and it seems like beans and shit are cheaper than meat. Also, I'm just a bit curious.
It depends on whether by "cheaper" you mean cost per calorie or cost per protein. Also, if you do not exercise, you do not need to eat meat to meet your protein needs, even if you don't eat foods particularly high in protein. It's pretty easy to get adequate protein from staple foods (not just legumes), eggs and dairy.
Cheese
Peanut Butter
Eggs
Soy
Grains
Lots of shit has protein.

no.
How is this suppose to work?
No mater how I poor sauce always runs down the side.
I've been using those with no problem since I was 4, and just recently bought a dispenser that claimed to not drip, and every time I pick it up there's a fucking black ring left on the counter.
You're supposed to put a finger over one side to control the flow...
>>7331217
No don't put your dirty greasy fingers over the hole. That is disgusting
>>7331235
>that is disgusting
That's how it's designed to work, dum dum.
Maybe you shouldn't be eating with people who don't wash their hands before sitting down at the table.

Have any of you tried eating porcupine or rotten porcupine like this gentleman here?
He says his favorite food is rotten porcupine and he enjoys smoking animal feces from his pipe for health reasons.

Kinda like that guy on YouTube who put diesel in a petrol car and nothing happened
I don't believe I would do/try anything that old chap suggests.
Is it true Europeans drink most everything neat?
>>7327281
According to Jim Jefferies the English have very sensitive teeth due to poor dental hygiene. Hence warm beer and no ice in their cocktails.
>>7327281
Most Europeans are pretty neat so yeah
no

What should I do with 155lbs of deer meat?
Deer is the fruit of the forest. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey's uh, deer-kabobs, deer creole, deer gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple deer, lemon deer, coconut deer, pepper deer, shrimp soup, deer stew, deer salad, deer and potatoes, deer burger, deer sandwich. That- that's about it.

Is it in cuts or literally around ground?
Dear reader,
in the following week or so i'll be spending just about 24 hours in London. I've been wondering if anyone could point me towards some solid food options, preferably on a rather 'street' budget, I'm not looking for restaurants per se, more something into the direction of street food.
Bonus points if its rather close to the 'waiting room', 175 Stoke Newington High St as that's where I'm generally headed.
>>7325601
It's an enormous city. Where, exactly will you be? There isn't much 'street food' like NYC or whatever, but plenty of pizzerias, donar kebab places and pubs which serve cheap food. Literally fucking everywhere, it's all the same.
>>7325635
He said pretty much exactly where he'd be in the OP. I looked it up and it looks like it's not really 'London' London and that very street has quite a few restaurants, cafés, and chippies around (but I didn't see any markets closeby).
The Blue Legume just around the corner does a fair eggs benedict, though you'll probably have to wait a bit on a weekend and they do that fucking thing with the two chives crossed on top.
Testi down the road is a Turkish grill place where you can indeed get testi.
If you walk an hour South or go a few stops on the Overground, you'll end up in Shoreditch. There are a lot more lunch places for office workers there, including B.L.T. Deli ("Big Loaded and Tasty"), which does burritos the size of your head for a fiver. My favourite is the Sunday Roast, which has roast pork, crackling, roast potatoes, vegetables in cheese sauce, and apple sauce.
There are a bunch of food truck places along Shoreditch high street, but they're mostly closed until the weather warms up, and their prices are ridiculous anyway. Unless you're really into the idea of huddling around burning barrels for £5 beers, you'd be better off finding a small restaurant closer by.
