Hi, total beginner here who started cooking for health and /fit/ reasons. Basically I'm trying to eat a lot of chicken and still stay at a caloric deficit.
Usually I post into the dinner thread, but can't find one so here we are.
Chicken fajitas with onions and bell peppers, nothing fancy. Does it look bad? I think I should have cooked the tortilla more, but it didn't taste bad.
I bought a shitton of lowcal sauces to try to find good tastes. I experimented with this one, adding a little light mayonnaise and spicy bbq. Also lamb lettuce for more fiber

Lamb lettuce is best lettuce.

Still eating the Jambalaya... lasts fucking forever, this batch.
>go to a local well-known BBQ restaurant, prior experience was 5-stars, tasted like love.
>this time, meat was 1-star. very disappointing, wasted money.
>my asian wife wanted to cry because she’s a bitch
>used the “contact us” email from their site, just to inform them that their BBQ was terrible that day. no threats, no demands, just expressing disappointment.
>the fucking owner contacted me back within 30 minutes.
>said they had a new employee that day, might have made a few mistakes
>offered me a freebie if i didnt yelp about it
>came back next week, got my free meal and then some, back to 5-stars
>now im fat
>>7332569
>fat
Sorry m8. Pretty sure that was a preexisting condition.
>At Sonic
>order a burrito
>has a long hair in it, tell the manager
>they make it again,
>has a long hair again, tell the manager again
>decide not to eat there anymore & drive off
Post pictures of your Asian wife or I'll throw a fit.
Improvised chicken parmigiana:
Trader Joe's nuggets, topped with Ferratta's sauce and freshly-granted Parmigiano-Reggiano.
Not bad in a pinch!
Who grants it to you though

That's pretty sad on a number of levels.

You fuckers ready to see my drunk ass cook some god damn sirloin fucking steak because in too much of a poorfag to buy a better cut?

Ready... i m far froma poorfag but I love sirloin, tastes like BEEF compared to filet mignon.
sirloin is the best steak tho
I'd like to make a nice iced tea lemonaide, but I only have lemons and black tea... is it still possibul?
Isn't iced tea normally made with black tea?
Either way, you're not making lemonade without sugar, and both lemonade and tea require water.
With just lemons and tea, you're making tea-flavored lemon juice.
>>7333808
if you have enough tea you can cold steep for about 12 hours
I do like 40g/3qt of water
then just cut some lemons and add them after the process
I'm betting you don't have enough lemons to make it work.
So i accidentally got a bunch of frozen pies but the place i am staying at has no oven.
Anyone know the best way to cook them without an oven?
Purchase an oven
Why on earth would you ever think to cook frozen peas in the oven? That's the silliest possible method I could think of.
Generally they would be boiled or steamed.

Is FiveGuys still $30 for a meal?
>>7332501
only if your order enough food for 3, fatty.
>>7332501
No? Their burgers are in the $5-8 range. Even if you're a fat fuck who buys fountain soda and fries, that's still like $15 or less
>>7332501
Who cares? Their burgers suck
>The French-Swiss chef Benoît Violier, who scaled the heights of gastronomy to preside over a small Swiss restaurant that was named the best in the world in December, has died in what appears to have been a suicide, according to the police. He was 44.
>Mr. Violier, a perfectionist known for his acumen in cooking game, ran the Restaurant de l’Hôtel de Ville with his wife, Brigitte. It has been awarded three Michelin stars and in December took the number one spot in La Liste, France’s ranking of 1,000 restaurants in 48 countries.
>The restaurant’s menu has included dishes such as “pigs trotters from the Jura with black truffles and glazed with Madeira wine,” roast Bresse chicken served with “Blue Winter” leeks and truffles, and a “fantasy of shellfish from the Saint-Brieuc Bay served raw in the shell on a delicate velouté.
If one of the best chefs in the world takes his own life, what hope is there for you /ck/?
RIP in peace

do you have a habit of judging people based on what's inside their shopping cart?
I try not to, but yes. Mostly because they always ask what pills I have in the little white bag I got the the pharmacy.
>Oh, what are you on?
>Prozac, _pause_ heh, wow that's a lot of coke!
I'm not mean about it, and most of the time I end up enjoying the conversation.
I don't give a fuck. Just get outta my way, grandma.

Followed it up with this, which I'm currently drinking. Great IPA, wouldn't be able to taste that it's 8%. Very easy to drink.
Picked up some Green Flash pacific gem pale to try, seemed alright.

Why the fuck does a tire company review restaurants? And why do people care what they say?
>>7333481
They started doing it to give motorists a guide to restaurants around the country so they would know where to eat before the days of yelp. Now it's the most respected restaurant review authority
Wa la
>>7333481
>And why do people care what they say?
Why do people care if a movie wins an Oscar or a TV show an Emmy? Why do people care if a writer wins a Pulitzer? Prestige, anon.
>>7333481
The same reason why a water company gets to tell you that noma is the world's best restaurant even though people have gotten diarrhea and burnt onions there: why not?
