How does one properly toast a sandwich? I tried the other day on the stove, as I've seen others do, put it on medium heat...had a roll, both sides on the skillet one side with condiments the other with meat and cheese

The rolls got nice and toasty, but everything else just got slightly warm, no meltyness as I see other people get.....so how do you do it the right way?

You put the bread under the broiler (low, not high unless you're constantly watching it) to toast the bread. I like to slice it in half first and face the inside upwards. Also you can add cheese first.

Heat the meat and other shit in a skillet or something until it's as hot as you want it, then use tongs to transfer the food to the toasted bread?

I was thinking maybe the problem was I put meat and cheese on the same side, maybe if I put the meat on one and cheese on the other alone

Am I the only one that prefers domino's over pizza hut? granted that domino's pan pizza is the only think worth getting - It is the shit compared to anything on pizza hut's menu.

This is strict a pizza chain restaurant thread, fags. I know there's superior stuff out there.

I prefer Domino's as well. They have pretty good cheesy bread too, though it's gotta be like 10k calories per bread thing.

Dominoes "artisan" or whatever pizzas are good. I hate Pizza Huts crust and cheese. If you don't have a good crust your pizza isn't good, it's like 80% of the whole thing

the various phos with beef should all be pretty good, pho is good. that #1 special bowl looks tasty.

viet vermicelli bowls are pretty good. get one with spring rolls, like #57 on the menu.

soda lemonade is good thing to have with a dinner if you're not having a beer. get a vietnamese coffee for dessert.

seconding #1, it's not too crazy for your first time trying a dish. plus new york so a big bowl of hot soup will be good for cold days.

i also really love chao ga (#135), it's super comfort foody, very simple but delicious. i actually just made some last month and thawed some leftovers for today.

i also always get iced thai tea with condensed milk because i'm a dumb baby and it's like candy

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but can somebody tell me whether Neotame is bad for you and source the clame to something reasonable?

The internet appears to be full of a massive circlejerk anti-neotame bandwagon quoting the same nonsensical article the science of which can be debunked with basic high school chemistry, but I dont want to trust this fucker without proof just because people warring against it are wrong.
