Are these Gros Michel bananas?
First photo is with flash on.
Second photo is natural lighting.
I'm not sure what you're asking, but it looks like you mixed up your images.

More like metal and blood.
I notice that if I drink 2 24oz Keystone Ice, I feel drunker than if I drink to 25 oz Busch Ice.
Both say 5.9% alcohol. Also I don't feel so good the morning after with Keystone.
Anyone else notice a difference with this or any other beers? Got a idea why?
It's all in your head.
>>7346886
I don't think so , it's been repeated many times.
Wife complains more with Keystone too, about breath and saying she thinks I drank more than usual

Sugar and other stuff can make a diff

Did you try asking for John?
has papa johns changed their pizza since they started? I thought they used to be pretty good.
Domino's by far, I get the shits every fucking time I eat there
Does /ck/ like Alton Brown? I think he's funny and cool. How do you guys feel about Good Eats?
I like the episode about sustainable seafood where he's an old man and his daughter is his granddaughter. It's funny.

He offers a lot of good explanations. I hate the people that only watch him and blindly follow stupid rules like "no unitaskers" when the whole point is to critically evaluate whatever you bring into the kitchen and avoid obvious junk that you'll never use is and is hard to clean.

Any other ten year old shows you'd like to talk about?
What's so great about pubs and bars if I can just get wasted with my friends at home?

You've finally figured it out, m8.
what's /ck/'s favorite knife to use in their set?
pic related for me. it makes chopping veggies, meat and even cheese and nuts super easy. if you don't have one you're a pleb.
A normal chef knife is better. No meme indents, easier to rock, longer, just more versatile in general.
What even is that, top shelf Ikea?
People who start threads with google images thumbnails should be permabanned.
Just made a jar of pickled shallots, which is also my first ever batch of home-made pickled anything. I didn't realise how little sugar I had in the cupboard so I'm hoping they don't suck,
Anybody here pickle shit? What are your favourite pickles? Gimme some tips.

I want to pickle mustard greens. Most of the ones that I have found have fish sauce in them. I like fish but I prefer pickled mustard greens without that fish taste.
>>7348939
Are they asian styled pickled mustard greens? I think it's more common there to use the fish sauce.
Can anyone tell me what wine tastes like? Does it taste predominately bitter, sweet, or sour?
>>7348162
It tastes like sweet, zesty alcohol.
Don't you go to church?

Depends on the variety, but for the most part sweet. Imagine the sweetness of grape juice, but less sweet, less acidic. A lot of times there is a kind of faint, musky undertone like aromatic herbs, mint, or mushrooms, dark chocolate. There is a slight dryness of the throat like how coca-cola feels when you swallow it. And the alcohol has a little bit of burn like a very, very mild mouthwash that stops tingling about 5 seconds after you swallow it. Some wines are more dry, some are very syrupy sweet. Lot of different fruity, citrus, herbal tastes going on, but it all depends on the wine, the color, the variety of grape, the aging. It's a pretty interesting drink.
Anyone here had food poisoning before? What are the symptoms like? I ate a decent amount of taco bell earlier and currently have a strange dizzy feeling + mild stomach pain. Pls help
>>7348114
You'll know you have food poisoning once you start throwing up while blasting diarrhea out the other end.
>>7348114
It could be creeping up. I've had it twice and it always just felt like a minor stomach issue, but as >>7348124 said, you can only really know when it hits you suddenly.
If you can get some activated charcoal that could help. I had food poisoning a few months ago, and it definitely relieved the symptoms.
>>7348206
Meant to say it always started like a minor stomach issue, then quickly became more...
What do you guys think of this place? I got a job working at one opening in my city and I've slowly been trying the menu. The burgers are pretty good and the wings are decent
I certainly hope that establishment isn't run by someone from upstate new york calling themselves a new yorker
new yorker is a name only people in the relevant area can call themselves. Anything north of the bronx is just "people who live in new york" not new yorkers
>>7347610
It was founded by people who moved to Arizona from Buffalo

Going to PF changs this evening, a place I rarely go to since I can make better chinese food myself. Meal will be free, going on a double date with a business contact and his wife so idgaf.
My wife likes their hot n sour soup, I think it is too thick though. I like their mongolian beef, but I made some teriyaki steak w/rice yesterday at home so no go mongo...
I was thinking of getting the duck (if they have any) or the salt and pepper shrimp?
Any ideas /ck? What do you guys order if/when you go there?
>>7347462
Haven't been to one in ages and even then it was only a few times. I suggest you get like 3 orders of pot stickers and call it good. Just get nothing but a shitload of pot stickers.
Do you want to know what drink to get, and what to wear too? Look up their menu online, and get whatever you think is good.
General Tso's
Do you guys have any favourite casserole/stew type dishes?
I pretty much just make gumbo and assorted curries, and I'm looking for new flavours.
